It's gonnabe a cold, very snowy winter 2025-26 in the Mid Atlantic. Get those shovels ready. Stock up on whatever you use to stay awake. Because you will be tracking weather models into late March over snow after snow after snow after snow after snow after snow after snow after snow after snow. By late January 2026, many of you will be sick and tired of digging the snow from your driveways. You will be fed up with waking up after spending 14 hours clearing your walk and driveway entrances from the latest blockbuster blizzard that dumped 30 inches of snow, to a huge, Brobdingnagian snow berm that the damned plow guy left you, right across your driveway, about eight feet high and frozen in place by single digit low temperatures and northerly winds gusting to 55 mph, to say nothing of drifting. You'll break out the ice pick and various tools, trying to chip through that snow and ice berm, falling right on your azz, right in front of your neighbors who will be cracking up so damned hard that they will be sliding on the ice like lemmings. Someone will inevitably capture your hilarious, Fail Tube flailing pratfall right on your tailbone on their trusty high end phone and post it straight to YouTube, where it will rack up over ten million views in 24 hours, assuring the channel owner a steady flow of fresh cash while everyone in your local neighborhood will be pointing straight at you and laughing uproariously while brandishing their phones and tablets.

These folks waaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyy down south in the Andes are just getting demolished. You can actually see that snow on the ground, getting blown around, in REAL TIME!!!!! Take a really good look at this vid. Because you are seeing a representation of what DCA is gonna look like come mid Dec 2025 on into early April 2026. Believe it. When you got the Jebman talkin SNOW in early August, what you got here is a sign of an imminently very BAD winter here in the Mid Atlantic only about 18 weeks from now.

Another massive weather system in TX, another wild swing...........and yet another MISS! Lucy is working overtime in Buda. The drought rages on. That was particularly heartbreaking. You could see the dark rain shaft but once again the life giving ship passes in the night.

Cerro Castor ski resort is still getting heavy snow and it is blowing around. It's deep winter down in deep southern South America and the skiers there are happy. It's gonnabe the scene in the Mid Atlantic come December 2025 on into the first three months of 2026. Remember you heard it first from The Jebman!

Nice cool relaxing day in Buda this afternoon, it was right nice out, about 101 degrees along with a 65 dewpoint. Not bad at all. I have been running around with the windows down in the car all summer because this has been quite the "cool" wet at times high sun season. Friday night/Saturday, Gulf of Mexico feature drifts west over south central Texas, colliding with a front from the northwest. Might get some storms. Meanwhile in other news, Cerro Castor Ski Resort in South America is getting demolished right now. Probably dozens of fresh centimeters of snow. It's blowing around, too!

Wow man I wish I could spend a week with you putting me to work learning everything you know. Forget meteorology. This stuff is far better!

Extreme heat stays out west. We Texans will take the high heat in order to help out all our friends back East. We are sending you DCers many a cool, dry front laden with dry continental air!! We like it hot. We'll gladly take ALL the oppressive dewpoints! I am pretty used to 77 dewpoints by now!

Congrats Dale City! You are leading the Nation in rain for the year so far!!!!!!! You passed 33 inches! I am jealous as all hell!!! All I have so far this year, is 26.3 measly inches of rain. I got 6.5 inches in a week but I wanted that 12 inch lolli SO DAMN BAD, I could taste it!

My left knee is getting better. Soon I will have to get on my knees and pull weeds for months and horrific Texas chiggers will eat me alive. I will have hundreds of bites all over. This will not be fun. I will wish I had been at Kerrville in Camp Mystic the night of July 3 asleep. I love that Guadalupe River so much, it hurts. Even more than I miss my friend A.B. I am DYING to undertake an truly EPIC walk up the entire Guadalupe just to get a damn good look at all the damage!!!!

So hard to believe, flood watch into tomorrow, Tuesday! 2 to 6 inches possibly tonight as an MCV continues to swirl to our southwest interacting with the highly abnormally humid airmass. I could still get my mini flood tonight, right when I am trying to deliver Uber lol. It'd serve me right, I am the guy who is dying to climb a tree in the midst of deep floodwaters, screaming myself HOARSE for rescue! I want to go full Kerrville, full-on Guadalupe, just like on July 4th! Should be really fun with the bad left knee! NO WAY I can run from this! I REALLY AM The Floodman!

And come Nov 27, I know The Reaper WILL BE BACK for bisnass!

Well full summer is building in. All rain missed us today. Now comes the Monster Ridge of Doom. No more rain for us until the El Nino of 2109. Til then drought and steady desertification. 2025 will not go down as the wettest year. 2025 will go down as an exemplar of evidence of the most severe Global Warming so far in Man's History. This will be the hottest year all over the globe, and in the USA, many places by Thanksgiving will be in severe, desperate drought. The rain is going to shut off and stay off and it will get extremely HOT, especially in the South. Texas will be the Epicenter of one of the absolute WORST summers of all-time! A catastrophic Gulf of Mexico anticyclone will develop and will prolong summer heat and extreme humidity right into Christmas! Other weather systems will bounce right off this fiery, ultra-humid puppy!

Pretty significant storms are forming and moving toward Kerrville. I do not want them to get that. Rescuers have operations ongoing there. I want that heavy rain in BUDA, now!

The 1st Rule of Inevitable Desertification is: Rain Delayed, is RAIN DENIED. And, Never forget Lucy, especially in the low sun period when jonesing for snow. This almost never fails. Today's Application: We waited excitedly all night for all that rain. It was DELAYED. It weakened, fell apart then sped up like an F-35 fighter. The rain was delayed then was DENIED to Buda. I stayed up all night waiting for it. DAMN! NEXT UP is a strong subtropical ridge building over Texas. Now comes one of the hottest summers ever! The record books will have to be rewritten because of hundreds of temperature records falling right through Thanksgiving, accompanied by almost no rain.

Ok I change my tune. The entire weather system is going to miss Buda. No measurable rain at all. I have been watching every Kerrville video on YouTube. I have been listing every last one of them on my new wiki. I want lots of rain, now. I want Plum Creek to Kerrville Rt 1626 at 967. I want my very own YouTube vid of Kerrville Buda. I crave disaster declarations for northern Hays County where I live. Turns out that I adore Kerrville and Ruidoso with all my heart. I wanna watch those water levels rise! I want to get some live flood readings, while I limp along on my bad knee. I am no different from what I was in Dale City. I still enjoy this stuff with all my heart. I am a billion year flood weenie. Well that is a 100 percent MISS for Buda. NWS cried wolf haha but I ain't laughing. I got one tenth of an inch. Kyle stole all our rain. Kyle has water everywhere. Poor Buda, always a swing and a miss. The entire storm is speeding up, heading for DCA. This is probably it for the summer and likely for years. I will never attain my dream, getting to climb a tree with fifty feet of water speeding by, while I get to scream myself HOARSE for a water based rescue. NWS you need to go back to meteorology school. You forecast 9 to 12 inches of rain last night. We got .1 inch. NWS biggest FAIL ever! No wonder you get cut back. I am not so sure about this crazy administration sometimes, but these alarmist forecasts have got to stop. You got my hopes way up for a decent Kerrvilling in Buda, and for what? Bitter disappointment and severe disillusionment for the rest of my short, miserable life! I envy those flood areas so bad. What I am about to say is purely speculative. There is no such thing. I am making all this dumb, speculative stuff up, all because I am so desperate for a 1500 year flood in Buda. I am probably the most desolate, desperate man in the entire world, all because I live in the wrong fucking place. But speculatively speaking, if we could influence the weather ( and I do realize man cannot) I wish Buda could get hit. Our soils are saturated. I wish someone could augment a Cat 5 hurricane in the Gulf of Mexico, and make it hit Corpus Christi then move NWly to sw of Buda and drag a potent rainband with hyper efficient rain production, right over Buda for about 3 days. I would be out in that, getting my fill of water levels readings and whooping it up while blasting Peter Cetera tracks from a waterproof Bluetooth speaker!

Central Texas is done for. Some places will get 12 inches of rain by 7pm tonight. It has been good knowin' y'all. Ground is saturated. That much rain is apocalyptic. If you can, get out of central Texas while you still can. Fly far away from the absolute devastation to come. Our time has run out. I am poor. I will perish here. No way out. None at all.
