    Looks a bit low south of DC. Perhaps by an inch. I think much of Arlington (except DCA) is closer to 5.5-6.5”.

    Significant compaction and melting. My 3” of new snow is down to maybe half of that.

    I live a few miles from DCA and never dropped below 23.5°. It’s crazy how cold an airmass we need to get real cold these days.

    The rain was a bust. Only 0.03” here. Should dry out nicely later today for anyone participating in outdoor Thanksgiving plans.

    I was expecting a warmer, sunnier day than what we’ve seen so far.

    They had a number of 5 minute obs right at 70. It will be interesting to see if they broke through.

    I can’t find the post but wasn’t it mentioned here there are very few (or maybe even no) instances of DC getting more than 8-10” and NYC getting nothing?

    With only very light radar returns over me, managed to add about 0.3” over the last three hours. Puts my total to just over 10”.

    Light snow picking up with the return of some greens on radar. I may make it to 10” if this can continue.

    There are two in the area, one of them is mine. Although poor siting (I don’t have much of a yard) means it sometimes runs warm during the day.
