    Absolutely unreal Met, my mind can’t fathom that I was on “dry” land there at 1-2 pm only for it to be completely underwater in a matter of hours and then on into the night. I hope they got the goats and chickens out from behind the hardware shop on the banks of the river. I’ve enjoyed watching them when walking by on the greenway the last few weeks in the evenings.

    Same. Places I was working after lunch were under water just like that. I’m fortunate I had a truck issue and had to go to the Toyota dealership or I would have most likely been caught up in it. Praying for safe outcomes.

    This was 112 at Hominy Creek, turned around instead of trying to cross that. Not as bad as what’s going on in Haywood but shows that even Buncombe is getting hit hard in spots.

    I was just in front of the Flying Pig like 3 hours ago. Water was running ponding but the creek must have blown out after that first storm rolled through.

    Holy crap. I was working around all those places last week and yesterday, crazy to see it flooded like that.

    Hominy creek is out of its banks and running over 112. Had to turn around.

    Ended up on Bear Creek Lake, it was a good day. Largemouth were biting pretty good.

    Woke up to frost here in SE Ohio. Bank thermometer I just passed said 30 degrees. Should be the same for y’all tomorrow.

    Nice one! I caught a 16-18” one in an undesignated section of the Pigeon the other day while trying to catch a smallie. Hoping to get out and catch a few tomorrow for dinner.

    Woke up at 8 and it was 9 degrees up on Lynn Lowry and right around 20 here, probably upper teens first thing this morning at day break. Wind made for a cold walk with the dogs at 10.

    Sunny skies here after a freeze this morning (no clue on temp but solid hunk of ice on the truck bed cover so I’m guessing upper 20’s maybe). Might try to find some snow over in Harmon’s Den area later while doing some hiking.

    They are just gonna cause March to be above normal and then have a crappy April again. I say March be wintry and transition right into a great April and Spring lol.

    You’ll jackpot often on there if you get up in the Mountains west of town. Cumberland/Deep Creek area would get more than Harrisonburg.

    Little less than Maggie Ace on the other side of the Plott Balsams from the pics my wife sent. Power out around us but our neighborhood kept it on which that used to be the other way around. So that’s good.
