    Driving along 25A, appeared 2 cars got hit by a fallen branch in East Norwich earlier. Police were on scene with one car on flatbed tow truck with a crushed front roof and windshield destroyed. The other car was just being loaded on to another tow truck.

    Son’s travel basketball game in Yorktown Heights just got canceled, was a 2:30pm start. Glad we didn’t leave yet, get to enjoy football games now.

    I’d say 48hrs, at least Tuesday winds start to subside and hopefully we get some sun before the day ends.

    Universities don’t have many holidays. Only had Labor Day & Thanksgiving off at UM back in the 90s for fall semester.

    Was beautiful yesterday, but my son had a 9am start for his travel baseball game. So didn’t have to deal with the warmth off the turf field that occurs. Had that last Sunday with the 3pm start.

    Yeah my station in Muttontown is at a low elevation too at 154' compared to the surrounding area.
