    Just does not want to stop. We had 2 inches during daylight. We just doubled in an hour with the fattest flakes of the storm. Taking my son skiing tomorrow. First time for me in a few years. He is just learning. Fingers crossed. edit: Total for the storm pushing 16 with compression. The snow shut off last night.

    It started over an hour ago while I was out running around for last pre storm/patriot game items. Definitely early, about 2 hours when compared to NOAA guidance. Not sure what it means, but probably a good sign for 20 plus. I was thinking 16 to 18 here. 5.5 degrees will help as well.

    I prefer to keep this type of nonsense in the north for winter recreation, but I will take one on the chin this time for all the winter freaks. Just went out to fill the empty gas can for the snow blower. Its madness. Had to go to three stations to find an acceptable wait. One had not gas. Not sure if it was a technical issue or they were out. All gas handles were covered.

    We got a good 1/4" dust up. Winds are going and 13 f heading to something below zero.

    The sheer volume of this storm is incredible. I have never seen such a large scale even gradient of snow.

    Shoveled a path to the truck. 4 to 5 would be right just as they drew it up. Was surprised to see it still snowing. 27 degrees.

    Unreal that the patriots are back in it. I am 55 and have witnessed 20 years of suck and 20 years of greatness... So glad we don't have another 20 years of suck.

    Have a great time. Last game i went to was the Denver playoff game when Tim Tebow came to town That was a laugher. The couch is just too easy.

    That was a strange blip to a warm winter. Coldest it has ever been in the 17 years living in Amherst. -24 if I remember correctly. Edit: I was wrong -13.

    3.5. Nice to see it. All the bad stuff is covered. High of 31 now falling. It was great day looking at the fat fluffy flakes this afternoon. Knees intact and cracking one open for the football game.

    Definitely not a leaf blower storm. Well over 2 and heading for 3 inches. 31 degrees.

    Radar seems to be filling in again. A little over an inch. 29 degrees. Just did the beer run for the weekend. Filled the wood bin. The oil guy almost blew a knee out walking to fill my tank. Its great walking until it isn't. Wings and nachos ready to fly.

    Well at least we get mood flakes for watching football tomorrow. I would like a few inches to cover the mess that has been left behind that last week (stupid oak leaves that have no idea to fall two months ago, neighbors dog crap, that smooth ice patch on a partially cleared path that will help an orthro surgeon retire)but it looks like I might be asking for too much.

    I love the patriots and hope Maye can get it done. Allen is a formidable opponent. I wish he had the arrogance of Rodgers so I could dislike him. He does not.
