We were on a family vacation a bit further north and went to Young’s lobster pound very good as well!  So many great places to have that favorite summer time roll. I love making my own also but the scenery in north Wilmington lacks lol.

I'm sure I'll be blasted, but I had lobster once and didn't think it was that good. Freshly caught at the dock too. I'm not a big seafood fan anyway.

This is one i had from Reds Eats in Wiscasset, There is a roll under that pile of meat, But you want to be prepared to wait 45-90 mins in line for one at times, Its just a hole in the wall shack but they do $5 million in business annually out of that location, And that's just May-Oct.

  3. They're becoming more abundant, Buddy sent me this, Pea soup, Pollen is brutal this year too, I'm sure your boat is experiencing it at the Marina, I use to watch it blow out of the pines across Long Lake like a sheet of green when i was down there, Terrible.

Yeah I’d also like to know. That’s good stuff. What’s the plan for weeds, just let them grow too? Clear cut it in the fall?

Pretty sure it was the Northeast Mix. https://www.americanmeadows.com/wildflower-seeds/wildflower-mix/northeast-wildflower-seed-mix

That whole area was clear cut only 2 yrs ago. I just through the wildflower seed by hand, but obviously missed some large swaths. Some oaks are already creeping back in, so I need to keep cutting those or they'll grow rapidly. Here's a pic during excavation.

  5. What type of grass are you using?

Been all over the board with hand seeding and hydro. Tried KBG but didn't take hold. Recent hydroseed they used Site One sun/shade mix. seems to be working well. But, when I handseeded some, not so much. Lawns are a pita.

Those trying to grow grass hope this post is wrong.

Lol, that's been me for the last 5 yrs, trying to get new grass projects to take root. Can be frustrating, but looks like good rn for thurs nite/fri.

  7. Very nice! Mine are still budding. I posted last week how there were no lupines at the Lupine Festival in Sugar Hill this year. Kinda sad, it's very pictoresque but it was nothing but green lawns this year.
I through down a bunch of wild flower seed last year. Supposed to be 10-15 variety throughout the season. Only a couple right now32548.jpg32543.jpg
