  1. Being courteous though makes them believe they can spread the virus from them to me. Works both ways. Just wish people had more common sense under conditions like that. Neither party is getting infected 30' apart going in opposite directions Sent from my Pixel 4a using Tapatalk
  2. I'll be cycling and watch people take their mask and cover up when I go by 30' away from them[emoji849] Sent from my Pixel 4a using Tapatalk
  3. And I've been in human and animal vaccine vaccine research for 25yrs. What's your beef with the current vaccines? Sent from my Pixel 4a using Tapatalk
  4. So you're not getting the vax i take it[emoji3] Sent from my Pixel 4a using Tapatalk
  5. Is there a covid tracker that breaks out deaths by ethnicity?

  10. Maine just moved up vaccines to 16+ from the 19th to the 7th.
  11. so is this how it's going to go? even with vaccines, we could be 6 months down the road in great condition as a country, but if someone somewhere (school, sports, etc) tests pos, we're going to postpone, quarantine, close up shop.
  12. Meh. 0.43" Sent from my Pixel 4a using Tapatalk
  13. I know and agree. Just surprised they make such a claim from a relatively small trial and expect the masses to think it'll apply to hundreds of millions.
  14. Didn't PFZ and/or Moderna data indicate 100% prevention against death if infected?
  15. I think they will find that the relatively high number of side effects are due to the mRNA dose being too high. Future studies should look at lower doses. I recall some of the efficacy trial designs looked at this, but 100ug of actual mRNA is quite a lot. I doubt it's the carrier liposome in the case of PFZ or Moderna causing the issues.
  16. Israel is hitting it out of the park. We're past the reliance on efficacy data. The caveat to Israel is I believe they have little to no variants there, but recent data indicates vaccines are effective, but to a somewhat lesser degree against variants, so maybe it doesn't matter in Israel or in the US. Time will tell
  17. I think they are going to move that up
  18. Yarmouth clam festival, in July and lobster festival now cancelled. With where we'll be with vaccinations, I'm sure it's out of an abundance of caution [emoji849] Sent from my Pixel 4a using Tapatalk
  19. We're about 60 days behind where Israel is in terms of vaccinations. Clearly the vaccines are very effective. The virus R0 is 0.53; negative log growth. Sent from my Pixel 4a using Tapatalk
  20. But you said only 2wks ago we were in for three blizzards. Next winter's looking bad already? C'mon man, take a break
  21. I read on wcsh FB that someone said a LTC in Oxford who was fully vaccinated in Feb recently tested pos for 25 cases. Not sure there is any truth or link to such news, but so long as nobody died or became severe, then it's probably not a big deal.
  22. So true about gorham. Ate at one of the diners couple summers back. Thought we stepped back in time. Almost a cowboy feel and look inside with some old 80s game show on tv. Sent from my Pixel 4a using Tapatalk
