  1. Ha, I've slowed down too, but the the other driver waves me through Sent from my SM-G981U1 using Tapatalk
  2. which supports my earlier statement that our cdc is overreacting
  3. lol, I hate that sometimes. Then two cars start to go and nearly hit each other. At any 4-way, my approach is whoever gets there 1st, 2nd, 3rd, etc gets to go first in the order received. I thought it was common sense stuff, but some people like to screw with it.
  4. what's NYC's current rate per 100K? Maine adds mask requirements to two counties, but NYC doesn't have any? wtf
  5. would be interesting to see how this would turn out had one of the spouses not been vaxed
  6. 74/54. Keep this weather coming and the hot sticky dews outta here.
  7. gotcha. forgot you were going there. enjoy the trip!
  8. want a bet? things are moving quickly. I hope everyone enjoyed their two months of "freedom"
  9. That's not stopping Maine CDC from requiring masks again in public places, effective today. I don't know if it'll be statewide or not, but details to come. Total over reaction.
  10. Probably still works unlike mine Sent from my SM-G981U1 using Tapatalk
  11. You mean on outside of tub where it meets floor? Sent from my SM-G981U1 using Tapatalk
  12. Don't forget to include the upcoming holidays since there will always be a convenient excuse to clamp down Sent from my SM-G981U1 using Tapatalk
  13. Checked the mixer valve and it's not that. Removed the tub drain and putty looks a little worn. Tried pouring water down drain to get ceiling to leak again, but wouldn't happen. Probably need to take a 10min wife shower to recreate. I'm just trying to determine if there is a leak in the joint up in the ceiling or at the drain around the putty. Don't want to tear into ceiling unless I know for sure. Sent from my SM-G981U1 using Tapatalk
  14. yeah, i was a bit harsh, but despite the enormous pressure on her, she should still finish the competition out unless she is genuinely injured (physically).
  15. I thought I heard she got injured, but later story said she needs to take care of her mental health first and foremost. Apparently too much pressure for her. If she were an employee, I'd fire her. IMO, she made an excuse because she wasn't beating her competitors point-wise.
  16. not sure I agree. If 16 months isn't enough time then how long is?
  17. once parents start pulling kids from schools, funding will decrease. more trickle down consequences from there. doesn't seem worth it to me
  18. we were going to take the boat out saturday, but I was playing with the throttle in the slip and elbow wasn't liking it much so figured best wait a week or so. Hoping to get out this weekend. Already told kelly she's responsible for setting the anchors
  19. same here, but what we gonna do when mandates come back for stores, restaurants, etc? Unless u mask up, nobody will gain entrance. the whole thing is utter bs at this point.
  20. Sounds good. We'll be with ed and becky on sat at some point.
  21. i deleted my comment, but looks like it still got posted. Anyway, there is a plastic round cover I can remove on the front side. I was just thinking if for some reason the whole valve needed to be replaced then I'd have to cut a drywall access panel on the opposite side.
  22. thanks. Can the mixing valve be replaced easily if that is the source? Our shower is tiled.
  23. Wife took a shower this morning in 2nd floor tub/shower and we noticed some water drops in the downstairs breezeway coming through the tongue/groove ceiling. . Bummer. My thought is it's likely a leak around the fiberglass tub drain or possibly the feed hose to the shower head. The shower head would be easy access at the wall, but if it's the tub drain, then I think I need to remove the T&G downstairs to get access. Anyone have to deal with this before?
