I know. West shifts help me too. Sorry I was being silly.

This is not the h5 you are looking for…move along to docking bay 94
-
Huh. Wasn’t expecting that. #takenaback

really moved toward a nothing burger without cheese and bun at my house too. looking at the euro I might not see anything because this time I am too far west...go figure. MBY has been a lot of things but too far west is relatively new one.

Jesus. I was almost asleep. Brutal irony

Late January and February Medium/Long Range Discussion
BristowWx replied to WinterWxLuvr's topic in Mid Atlantic
Losing December hurt. My area doesn’t see a lot in Dec but it was basically spring the entire month. Oh well. See what Feb brings.- 4,130 replies

Late January and February Medium/Long Range Discussion
BristowWx replied to WinterWxLuvr's topic in Mid Atlantic
I mean we get about 3 months of winter. We lost 1 in December. Jan was OK. Barring a mid level warning event in Feb winter is on track for a grade of C+. And that’s generous.- 4,130 replies

I’m actually enthused. Aside from the immediate sand on the coast we do ok in the GFS. It snows at least from the NS. Better than the alternative.
-
I like your spirit. You have moxie. At this point nothing would shock me. Apps runner on the GFS? Sure

The hits keep coming. NAM just sharted and didn’t change its pants

not often you see snow from coastal ME to coastal SC from the same storm...to the actual coast even OBX...this will be memorable for many...painful for many too.
-
someone said it yesterday...we are not on top of Mt. Washington...can't dismiss 2-3 inches because some winters that is ALL we get. I will enjoy checking the obs on Mt. Washington however come Saturday...those should be interesting.
-
seems reasonable. eastern PWC for sure....for us...maybe. who knows...we were supposed to get what 3 inches last friday and got 3 minutes of flakes...these things have way of just doing what they will do
-
seems like that would be a yes. I mean that snowfall gradient is straight north south...seems like it would move with the storm either being further west or bombing more...or both. will wait for the others
-
Hmmm. It’s about 48 where things can go to the terd bowl.
-
That has to be good. Closed over ROA. That should be a dream scenario for this area.
-
I’d be happy with low end warning.
-
still hard to believe that is not just awesome for us.

this is like a carbon copy of yesterdays pbp

2 years worth of snow at ORF
-
and its still only Tuesday. if we could just get....nevermind...2-4 is fine.

Yes and thank you for noticing Art

I think your backyard will do ok. You’ll benefit from the coastal to some degree. But the mentioned screw zone is real in these situations . Just the nature of these set up. It all evens out
-
I think based on that euro look there will be a screw zone..my area west of 95 east of 81 looks solid for that to occur. Where the NS fades and the coastal takes over. It’s ok I’m fine with it..don’t worry about me…I’m fine

I’m expecting an FU so if that can be avoided it’s a win
