think that was on the 12z run unless I am looking at wrong thing. The 0z run looks less inspired/slower. but the potential is there.

Even with -NAO on steroids it still needs to be cold enough. Ben mentioned warmer climate. It looks epic on the screen but the devil is in the details especially for the coastal plain. I’m nervous but I am ok.

One thing I hate is a guy like this making that call…he has no idea if it will rain or not next week let alone 3 weeks from now…and not seeing the upcoming potential just to double down on 2 inches of snow because he made that call a month ago…he has no clue what will happen…no one does…he’s a turd sandwich

It's nice to see a continued -NAO blocking in some fashion repeatedly on the GEFS in the post 228hr timeframe...it just keeps showing up...no just a one run and done.

just the op run at long range but week of 12th still looks like we take the polar plunge. Hopefully not too much of a good thing but that -NAO is a beaut!

Wow that is just a stupid sized pig high. You would think that is tough to dislodge.

2m temp anomaly looks ok. For mid Dec that could put us in an ok spot. Not sure how stable that NAO will be. Sometimes our biggest issue is never being in the game long enough to score.

I wouldn’t get hung up in what happens 2 weeks from now. 2 weeks ago Thanksgiving looked wintry. That bird was stuffed and served with a side of mid 50s and partly cloudy.

ICON looks like the Euro..sort of. None of it is all that exciting if its not frozen. Upslope is money however so I can root for that even if I can't personally enjoy it.
