Agree. It’s not really a stretch in thinking. Our best ice events come with a wedged in arctic high over upstate NY that ends up retreating slowly east. Starts as snow and transitions but the low level cold is slow to erode with snow changing to light rain of drizzle with light winds. This setup has none of that. We are just talking about this out of sheer boredom.
shortest winter ever. 1 month...a good month but still. unless March does something silly like a 93 event I am giving it a solid C+ merely based on January for my yard.
I can’t remember the year but I remember it was one of the few times I saw -0 temps and it was March. Saw -4 driving through Bull Run Battlefield. Maybe 2015. Negative anything is rare here any month.
And get in shape for me. Late night model watching and snow days are fattening and boozy. Seems like kicking that into gear is prudent based on LR trends….eh, I will wait for the day 15-16 event then get my life in order.
We will be lucky to get white rain out of this regardless of the mesos. Not being a deb but these are tough set ups for our location. Car topper would be top end miracle.
