I was just thinking back on some of our most epic surprise over performer events. I’ll never forget that one March event. No idea of the exact date/year but it was one of those where most of us saw some mixed precip that was supposed to be all rain or change to rain fairly quickly. Reverse bust sort of. Your area hung on to snow for most of it. 8 inches I think. You may have even posted pics. Heavy wet snow.

It has been my experience that a warm Thanksgiving results in a warm Christmas. The only white we are likely to see this holiday season is that Conquest TSI.

I’m going to address the elephant in the room...Thanksgiving is looking much warmer than I would prefer. With all we have been through in 2020 this is just another body blow.

It worries me when we see stability in a bad pattern on the GEFS and EPS. Right now it looks pretty stable/bad at least here. Up in your area its certainly more forgiving and you have more margin for error....but here as you know it could mean a shutout for a lot of us. Plenty of time to worry about that later.

I see its bad..really bad looking at the 6z GEFS at h5... but we have time on our side for it to turn around or just change completely. I am taking an optimistic view this year to stay away from the reaper for as long as possible......... hold my reservation however....I'm using points and miles.

That’s quite the car collection. The SRT8 looks amazing in black. I have a wrangler JL. Also amazing in black. It’s a saharacon. I put Rubicon rims on it and rockrails. It’a a good look.

Regretting getting the black Jeep. It’s stays clean for about as long as our snow stays on the ground..for 20 minutes. It’s an awesome 20 minutes but still.

I was encouraged by what you posted above. Appreciate that. Been watching each run of GEFS as we are getting to closer prime time.

I looked at the extended GEFS h5 pattern at 18z. You couldn’t ask for more boring and flat look. North side of normal for temps. That takes us to Wed before Thanksgiving. I won’t need the heat or the AC if that holds. Meh.

These type patterns seem to go on for endless amounts of time. If it’s seasonal for Turkey day I will call it a win for those of us that like cooler weather.
