  1. Scrolling down my past posts and found these gems:
  2. 12z GEFS vs 12z EPS, take your pick.
  3. I vote myself, since I'm a narcissist who wants my backyard to get THE MOST snow.
  4. might be 6" depending on ratios in DC
  5. The rich get richer. And the poor get poorer. And the happy get happier. And the sad get sadder.
  6. You just wake up to puking snow, lol
  7. I'd say we wait until tomorrow for Sunday when the solution becomes a little bit clearer (or even more unclear with the way models are running nowadays lol)
  8. The Friday clipper that's overshadowed by its big brother.
  9. 6z EPS (favors north of DC) vs GEFS (favors south of DC)....
  10. Here's a disagreeable idea.... move north
  11. 18z EPS is the strongest signal out of the last several runs.
  12. The weekend is too far north for most except maybe TSSN and mitchnick but the 18z Euro has Friday. A general coating for the area.
  13. It's only December 9th and you're calling winter over already? lmao
  14. 18z GFS dislikes Friday, weekend has small jack zone of 2-4"
  15. 12z GEFS may look very good, but it's heavily skewed by one storm in P8 that drops about 30-40 inches of snow (3-4" QPF, imagine kuchera lol) in the metros lol
  16. -PNA did not help the shortwave dig at all, so we just got weak sauce.
  17. GFS finally gives "northern crew" some meaning
  18. that's probably a hot take, but not a baseless one. glacier is super cool, and i'd take a messy 6" of snow, 0.5" frzr, 3" of sleet as a close second to a 12" snowstorm.
  19. yea, one heck of a storm. 30” in the jack zones, messy fun in the metros. But then again it’s the most normal winter GFS run, so
  20. 18z GFS is what it is.... and that's snow.
  21. thoughts y'all? i'm not saying it'll happen or not i'm just curious and your takes
  22. both Friday and weekend threats on the EPS
  23. Two different operational runs two weeks out. What do you expect?
