  1. The Wallkill mesonet still has the 2” soil temp at 32.4
  2. 62 for the high, the descent has begun, down to 59
  3. Washing machine like wind swept rain with the front here now near MGJ, 62 degrees
  4. 61 degrees at 4am…in February. Pressures rapidly falling, as will the temps in a couple hours. I grew up in the era of “Sticks and stones may break my bones but names with never hurt me” but for those who did not, it’s a legit blow dryer out there. Wait wut?
  5. Here's the hour before that one. We know how these maps usually are overdone, lets hope that the case here too.

  13. As am I but it’s a lesson that those spiking footballs one way of the other should learn, but they won’t. 4.1” looks to do it here now that it’s very light and skies are brightening.
  14. Yea, I’m pretty sure this is my second biggest total of the winter LOL
  15. After a high of 53 yesterday somehow I just had to shovel the driveway…imagine that. 3.9” on the board and still snowing. Complete winter wonderland out there, trees are all plastered with powder snow.
  16. We were told by someone on Thursday it would be an isolated inch at best. I guess we are isolated and are better than best?
  17. Ya know, people have allergies to things other than pollen…right?
  18. I was surprised that parts of my yard that is exposed is still rock solid, lots of water to go in that there yard.
  19. Violently agree. High of 56 here today. Definitely made some progress on the driveway getting the water to move off it, staying above freezing tonight will help with that too. I’d say half the yard now is bare.
  20. That’s one of my favorite scenes
  21. It’s slick here all day, ice in the morning, water on ice midday, then mud until it starts freezing up again in the evening. Lovely stuff…
  22. A good part of lower Manhattan was also created by “stupid humanity”.
