  1. Wow, I wonder why you didn't drop further? Clouds move in sooner, winds kept up? I'm sure that you sat up all night constantly monitoring your backyard conditions
  2. We had some clouds move in right around the time of my low based on the obs from SWF which is a reason I would think that it didn't go lower. I don't always trust the KMGJ obs as they showed clear all morning but I can see the overcast.
  3. Same here with a low of 0(.4), currently sitting at 3 (3.2)

  5. My aunt lives in Wolcott, CT and she made out rather well too. Ilove how it's going to stay cold now so we won't get much of any melting. Then we'll see if we can sqeeze anything out of the clipper and then next week. This is the kind of winter I like, as do many of you I presume.
  6. A State of Emergency for 10"? Wow. Thanks for the photos. Good for you Radders!
  7. 6.0" here. Was hoping for a little more but I now have a snowpack of 12-14" from three different storms, so I like that alot Like I said before, I'd take 4 snowfalls like this over 24" at one shot any year. Hopefully this time next week we'll get another one like this was and last Friday.
  8. All of this talk about the low forming closer to the coast is very interesting, as are the reports of sleet and rain. It will be interesting to see if this continues.
  9. You being further east than I am will help you out.
  10. I threw 8-12" out there a couple of days ago and haven't really strayed from it although I was thinking, this morning anyway, that western Orange may be around 6". I think that higher ratios will save us.
  11. Hey Radders, I 'm getting from some other threads that theres another storm around this time next week, did you see anything with that, snow around here?
  12. I'm just south of your map, near KMGJ but I think I get what you're thinking, thanks!
  13. Hopefully it verifies. I just can't believe the way the storm pattern has been since last winter. At least we get in on the action more this season but it really is a pretty incredible stretch for the NYC area. I'll take another 6+" though to add to our snow pack.
  14. Winter Storm Watches.....snow from the snow pack drifting across roads in spots.....crews out pushing snow banks and piles back to make room for the next snowfall.....there are worse ways to start off the work week for me.
  15. My thoughts exactly. Which model will win the battle this time around?
  16. Agree, hopefully it will be like the powder we got on Friday, easy to clean up and beautiful to look at.
  17. We could use Radders with some Euro totals for our back yards
  18. Robby likey. That discussion reminds me that I should post a couple of the blowing snow and drifting photos I took the day after the blizzard.
  19. We must have for a bit but it was cloudy when I got up this morning around 7:30am.
