    That was snow to rain here after a few inches. Slop left over the next morning. Big event here was the mid Feb storm with 7 inches. A HECS these days

    Basically we had a long extended fall until the 7-8 day stretch of winter that started around 1/15....

    yeah I'm not sure why anyone would buy cold at this point...LR fantasy that hasn't panned out since Thanksgiving.

    Lawns starting to green up here. We usually mow mid April but if this warmth continues might be 4/1

    We've slowly gotten used to the warmth. This type of winter climate the last 10 yrs is more like central Virginia

    In some ways it was just a wetter version of 01-02 and 11-12 both of which featured incredible coast to coast warmth but very dry. Locally we had a 10 day stretch of favorable cold/snow both those seasons and that was it. March could feature a +7 departure given what little cold looks to develop.

    It has a cold bias in the Long Range. You should know this by now. There is no cold or snow coming. Winter is over and has been over since mid Feb.

    Strong sun angle very noticeable now. Car was warm when I got into it earlier.

    you're just realizing this now? It's been +4 to +7 temp wise the WHOLE WINTER. We are lucky to have gotten anything with a background state that warm.

    Interesting about how the LR models go to past climo-It looked like alot of them had a classic El Nino pattern in the LR (which were often dead wrong)-I wondered whether it was weighted towards climo....
