I'd want to see the ridge more pronounced, that would promote airflow from the NW vs a W to E flow across Canada which would just be PAC garbage air.

Canada is torched with that fast PAC flow-there's no blocking either-yes it's a deep trough but that's not overly cold and it's very early december-climo still against us

A lower percentage taking the vaxx may be ok given the 95% effective rate of the vaxx....may only need 60%....

The quarantine rules may change as the winter goes on. Vaxx will become available at some point as well....

A bitter close election that will be decided by less than 80K votes in 3 states-similar to 2016. Not exactly a mandate and likely 4 yrs of gridlock coming up with R's keeping Senate and Dems losing seats in house.

Even then, good luck-it worked in March/April b/c there was alot of unknown and fear. Different story this go around...

Not going to matter much-people are done with this and will still gather in homes etc. Putting restaurants at 50% from 75% will do little except hurt them even more

The bands feed into the center of the storm-they're called "feeder bands" for that reason.

Carpooling makes sense-small enclosed environment. Everyone here is back to giving rides to people/other people's kids to games etc.
