  1. some convection getting going N of NYC and also over the Poconos
  2. I don't remember 96 being that cool. But I'm sure it was. 2009 was bad since it rained most of May/June. July was cool/dry August had some short lived heat/humidity.
  3. Might be more of an "in close" year like we have seen recently-seems like the long tracked hurricane has become a bit rarer past few years...
  4. The NAMS have definitely dried out some-almost appears best risk is N and W of the city
  5. Hard to imagine we all go dry with dewpoints like that....
  6. It could get busy-seen some talk about MJO phase 2 getting things going...

  11. Euro, GFS and CMC have alot of convection over their 0Z run last night
  12. Very dry ground, I wouldn't count on this underperforming....
  13. even the 3 inches I had here b/w the 2 monday events dried up incredibly quick.
  14. HRRR and both NAMS have rain for many-but we'll see
  15. from up here it's easier to drive
  16. Models have been horrid at time with rain chances
  17. it's dusty here despite 2.5 inches of rain 2 mondays in a row-amazing how quick it dries up this time of year...can't imagine what other places look like
  18. it's mostly convection so models will have a hard time pinpointing until we are 6 hrs out (HRRR time etc)
