I go for a walk nearly every night in summer with the dog. The muggy nights with the crickets, the best!

Bring me a summer of high 80s and lows in the upper 60s please! Also lots of sun! Ready for some awesome nights on the water and at the beach! I can tell you don't enjoy those activates or you'd be hoping for the same thing. I enjoy winter as best as anyone can in Buffalo, but summers are by far my favorite season. There is just so much you can do in summer here in Buffalo compared to winter. Kayaking, boating, swimming, BBQ, biking, golf, parties over friends house in backyard, bonfires on the beach, rooftop bars, concerts, there is something going on downtown literally all summer in the city. Can't wait.

Isotherms forecast was pretty spot on, as it usual is. Raindance has been pretty good as well. Go look at their forecast in weather forecasting sub-forum. You can't predict individual storms, but you can predict patterns ahead of time. Both of those guys are so much better then long range models/ENS.

Usually you get 2 ratters in a row. Would last year be considered a ratter? I know for Buf it wasn't. 2011-2013, 2015-2017, 2019-2021.

I've had two lake effect events this year, the lowest in my lifetime here in WNY. Just no cold air aside from Nov/Early Dec. Still not doing terrible due to synoptic, but definitely an odd year.

I didn't think 65" in 24 hours was possible here. Detroit can definitely break 100" in a year given their location. Just need the right setup.

I think this is a great year for the midwest and western Great Lakes. We should squeeze out an above average year here too based on Neutral/Weak Enso conditions which are our best winter snow years.

Reed Timmer does this as well for a living. Pretty much my dream job of all time, nothing else would come close a side from a professional hockey player and even then it would be close.

I'm from New York and thought Sandy was lame. So overrated.

He also got a show on television and is likely paid considerably for it. He's living the dream I wish I had. No one should feel sorry from him, he usually reemerges within a week following a chase on here. He's a veteran in chasing Canes all over the world. Some of those Philippians islands facing 200+ mph would have me worried much more.

My uncle just bought a house back in Buffalo and they are officially snowbirds. They have 2 houses near Delray Beach a little bit south of West Palm. Keeping an eye on this one, as they will have to fly back and board up if the Euro is correct. Pretty much a direct hit as their house is on the beach.
