  1. If you don't say what Trump wants you to say, you get fired. We have countless examples of this. I mean... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Trump_administration_dismissals_and_resignations
  2. And knowing Trump those words were probably from Trump himself telling him what to say to keep the country under control. If it didn't become a global pandemic he would likely still be uttering the same words. Just like Fauci is now saying we may be able to open up by May 1st. That isn't Fauci, that's a scared Trump running for reelection talking.
  3. What about this? This is 1000 times worse. When are we firing trump? https://www.factcheck.org/2020/03/trumps-statements-about-the-coronavirus/
  4. Cases going back up in China. No real way to stop this until we get a vaccine. But if we keep the cases low, the hospitals shouldn't have too much of an issue with this in summer as flu season winds down. If we don't have a solution by later this year as we head into winter/flu season again we may have a similar situation Mass testing is key.
  5. Did trump really tweet out about firing Dr. Fauci because he said in an interview that we would have been able to save lifes if we acted sooner?
  6. I don't think I can vote for someone like this. You also cannot trust the polls as Trump defied all polls that showed Hilary up by 10+ pts a week before voting. The general idea I get is Trump is going to win in a landslide and I agree with them. I hate the democractic party for turning on Bernie, that alone makes me want to switch sides. And this is too weird for me.
  7. I would wager quite a bit Trump gets reelected so brace yourself for another 4 years.
  8. Almost an impossible task trying to keep Western New Yorkers at home as it gets nicer out.
  9. Italys new cases and deaths back up today. New York deaths back up again.
  10. I can see that coming from the company itself but the government paying 25k to everyone who is still working is kind of crazy. Who is included and who is not? Me and you are still working. I still directly deal with customers each day. Our phones have been off the hook in regards to this PPP program (payroll protection program). It seems the government dedicated 350 million to it and almost all the money is gone already. There is disconnect between the government and the big banks in regards to how this gets distributed. Are we going to pay the bagger at the grocery store a $25k bonus? If so, I'm going to go apply at Tops tonight.
  11. This is crazy....Do they not have enough protective gear?? More than 175 health-care workers have virus Infections at Kaleida, ECMC and Catholic Health amount to 10% of total cases in Erie and Niagara counties https://www.investigativepost.org/2020/04/10/more-than-125-health-care-workers-have-virus/?fbclid=IwAR3PUUOPVf3r7whUOQOIfQsI097yFW5CEdwE2Mo4r2-33hiZ-hma25Zir9A
  12. Well we wouldn’t hand them any money until they got to the process of being considered a valid serious candidate. As I already started nothing needs to change... most super pacs are given later on in the election process. A large private institution or independent billionaire doesn’t want to give anyone money until they have validity and lots of support. They would be throwing money out the window.
  13. How does the current process get rid of thousands of candidates? The initial process wouldn’t change at all and it wouldn’t need to to accomplish what I’ve stated.
  14. Anyone that wants to run gets to run. That initial process would not change. It would be a tiered payment structure, the farther they get in the process the more money they receive. 20 candidates (1 million), 10 candidates left (5 million), 5 candidates (15 million), 2 candidates (20 million) Something like that. They could utilize an unlimited number of volunteers. The stronger the candidate, the more volunteers they would get.
  15. Easy solution. Allow a designated amount of public funds be available to those running. Or have it all done voluntarily. Don’t let any private money come into the equation. The current process of running for president is a joke anyways. The process takes a year + traveling all over the country holding unnecessary rally’s and costing millions of dollars on waste. It’s unnecessary.
  16. Removing super pacs and private interest involvement in elections would be a big start and what max said
