Above average temps start again on Wednesday this week lasting until end of the month. Nov 30th-Dec 2/3rd there is a chance of something, not much cold air but enough After that we warm up for another week Mid. December-Mid January should be the goods of the winter.

Yeah I'm not sure why he didn't go from yellow straight to red. We've qualified for it for 3 weeks. So its not cut and dry. I don't understand the yellow/orange/red infection rates if they arent real. A bunch of my friends at the gym went up to Niagara Falls to lift this weekend and to go out to eat after up there. A few went to Ellicottville. They should just do all of WNY.

Our source of cold air is on fire the first week of December with a terrible Pacific.

The next 2 weeks looks slightly above normal. There is a chance to sneak in something around Nov 30th-Dec 2nd timeframe.

In 2 weeks the average high/lows are in the 30s/20s and with lakes really warm it wouldn't take much to get a decent LES event with some NAO blocking. We need a little help from the pacific though, that doesn't look to come until later in December/January. Anyone find a spot to check EPO?

We need colder air, its very marginal. Don't think we get real arctic air until at least Mid December

Based on yesterdays number we still qualify for red.

These large Lake effect snow events just have so many memories attached to them. 1995- Jumping off 2nd floor into giant pile of snow when I lived in the west side. 2000- Getting stuck at school overnight 2001- Building the biggest snow forts ever with my cousins/friends in neighborhood 2006- Went for walk with my family through neighborhood with power flashes and trees crashing all around us. 2010- My first apartment on my own, will never forget how much lightning was in that band 2014- Best storm I'll ever see. Slept about 4 hours in 5 days documenting it all on video. Walking around in the heart of that band was something I'll never forget. Got a week off of work paid as well. This is what its all about. I'm ready for the next one.

Hoping we have a similar recovery next year.

Mark Polancarz made it seem like we could possibly go to red next week before thanksgiving and black Friday. We technically meet the criteria of 4% infection rate.

Trump is going to lose the election by 6-7 million votes. However, he technically only lost by 45k votes. If he won Wisconsin, Arizona, and Georgia he wins the election. Pretty crazy.

I agree. But that is the choice we are at right now unfortunately. Must be nice to be in congress and leave for thanksgiving break 10 days before its even here while earning 175k a year working a few hours a week while the American people struggle.
