  1. 83 right now, shattered the record. Mid summer conditions, I want to open my pool but know a cool down is coming.
  2. I've done both and I 100% agree. It's hard to argue this point actually, google is one click away and no teacher watching you take your test.
  3. Hit 80 today already, supposed to get up to 82, record for today was 75.
  4. Kbuf already at 80, likely makes it to 82. Record was 75
  5. This isn't good Colorado vaccination site closes early after reactions to Johnson & Johnson vaccine https://www.foxbusiness.com/healthcare/colorado-vaccination-adverse-reactions-johnson-johnson
  6. It's literally perfect outside. This is the type of spring I've been waiting for.
  7. New data came out since this and Pfizer is 91% vs South African. Moderna is likely same efficacy vs P1 as Pfizer or pretty close.
  8. If they decide to not get the vaccines that's on them, they are taking that risk. Everyone else should be living like they were before covid. That is what vaccines are for right? Not to social distance, wear a mask, and limit capacity everywhere. If all that still happens than what is the point of all of this? You do realize more kids under 16 die from the flu then covid right?
  9. Hit 69 today, looks like 70s tomorrow, 80s on thursday and back to 70s on saturday. Not bad for early April.
  10. The media is fear mongering. We've been with covid for over a year now. This pandemic is quite similar to the 1918-1919 one. The first case was found in April of 1918 and ended in late 1919. That is without vaccines. This thing is toast by summer or the end of the year. Unless the media controls the narrative which is completely possible.
  11. I'll take that over the 40s and windy conditions we've seen the last few Aprils. 60s and sunny is great spring weather.
  12. A dumb counter argument. Are you not going to eat fast food because it causes high blood pressure or to be overweight? Are you not going to go out in the sun because you can get skin cancer? Covid presents very little risk to me. Most of the people I know got the sniffles/cold. Either way, I have my Pfizer shot on Saturday.
  13. I say the benefits outweigh the risk for the older population. There is no way I'm taking that vaccine if there is even a small chance of a blood clot in my brain. For those under 40 I would argue that statement.
  14. You should still do your research before you take any medication or vaccine. My cousin was given Zpak when he contracted covid in January and he has Colitis. He ended up getting CDiff and was in the hospital for 7 days. Cdiff mortality rate is 4-6%. Why would they give him antibiotics for a viral infection? They only work against a bacterial infection. I texted my buddy who is a PA and he stated doctors give out antibiotics far too quickly. I have another example of a doctor giving me meds far too quickly in January for some issues I was having as well, and ended up having pretty bad side effects. Sometimes the treatment is worse then the actual problem. Doctors treat the symptoms, not the root cause of the problem. You should still always question everything, even medical professionals.
  15. I really don't get the chip thing. I mean you're a police officer. Your car is tracked everywhere you go, also your cell phone is tracked everywhere you go. You're being constantly tracked either way. The chip thing literally makes zero sense.
  16. This won't help vaccine hesitancy. First they lied about the effectiveness and now this. Europe is going to be quite a bit behind the US as this was one of their primary vaccines. Clear link between AstraZeneca vaccine and rare blood clots in brain, EMA official tells paper https://www.reuters.com/article/us-health-coronavirus-astrazeneca-vaccin/clear-link-between-astrazeneca-vaccine-and-rare-blood-clots-in-brain-ema-official-tells-paper-idUSKBN2BT1ER?utm_source=reddit.com
  17. I doubt there will be a deadly surge for the youth as not many die from it under 50 years old. Could be lots of new cases/hospitalizations though. Today anyone 16 and above can get the vaccine in New York State.
  18. The last few times I've gone to doctor with these symptoms they don't give me anything for it just fluids/rest so I stopped going for it.
  19. Looks like summer starts on Thursday Thursday Mostly sunny, with a high near 80.
  20. I did not. I'm on day 14 with symptoms, still coughing up mucus. I think its sinusitis.
  21. The Sabres played the NJ Devils and almost the entire team got covid. I find it crazy how in 1 hockey game they all got sick. The flu is not that contagious. Covid on the other hand is extremely contagious as mentioned above.
  22. Would you rather have some small symptoms for 12-24 hours or go through this?
  23. Looks like 60s all next week. We might finally get a warmer than average April. Right now we're -7.2 for temps
