4 out of 5 of the last Mays have featured below average temps here, the only exception was 2018 with a +8.1 temps. Almost every other month has been above normal besides April/May, definitely a trend.
Buffalo is at + .1 so far for May, with below average temps into Memorial day we will have our 4th out of 5th year in a row with below average temps for May. The only exception was 2018 where it was +8.1.
A well known poster over on New England forums passed away from covid at 32 years old, pretty tragic. His mom is still in hospital with it on ventilator. He used to message me on PM about lake effect snow all the time. RIP James.
Days like today remind you that you still live pretty far north, despite global warming. You can get ice pellets when its nearly June and you can get them in September. Only 3 months where that isn't possible. In the high peaks of the Adirondacks you can get snow in any month. There is still snow up there.
Are they really meme stocks if its public knowledge that hedge funds have them shorted? I do wonder if hedge funds will ever short stocks again after these few fiascos. If information that large hedge funds have shorted a particular stock, all it takes is WSB and some momentum to drive the stock upwards.
I don't use a solar cover and usually that results in more algae then without. I was looking into getting one this year to keep the water warmer, just a pain taking on and off. I've tried the tablets with 2 floaters and 2 in filter and just doesn't cut it. The bottom of the pool turns green without the shock.
Agreed. I wouldn't use Robinhood for stock buys anymore. He uses Fidelity and I would recommend using one of the bigger players in the market. Vanguard/Fidelity/TD/E-trade/etc.... Very unlikely those crash.
My wife has 101 fever with 2nd shot of Pfizer. She got yesterday at 430. I didn't have any reaction to 2nd, 1st one hit me a little harder with headaches/chills. I talked to doctor on my trip out west and said if you got hit harder with 1st you probably have had covid previously and not known it.
Yeah they may work when temps are cool, but once real summer arrives they don't work too well. I have a 24' 4 foot deep pool so its a lot of water for just tablets.
