  1. Erie and Ontario protect us from any real long time drought. When the air cools down and our rainy season starts in fall it cures any drought we may have had in summer. Out west they don't have that luxury. It can be dry there for years on end. That literally is impossible in this forum.
  2. Quite a few of my friends are posting his stuff all over their socials in support, its the number one story over here. Lots of the Bills are anti vax. Beasley, Mckenzie, Poyer are really vocal and I'm pretty sure Allen and Diggs didnt get it.
  3. We don't have to ever worry about a real drought here. The west coast is just entering its dry season. Going to get insanely ugly in a few weeks out there.
  4. June temps. Next 3 days will feature above normal temps before a brief cool down and then another above average time for next weekend. BUF- +4.4 ROC- +2.9 WAT- +3.9
  5. So have my hikes planned for next week. Doing Sawteeth/Blake/Colvin on Thursday and then Saddleback/Basin/Haystack next weekend. Will put me at 30 peaks. Each hike is around 20 miles. Forecast for Thurs looks nice so far. Thursday Mostly sunny, with a high near 66. Southwest wind 5 to 7 mph.
  6. Yeah I'll pass on that, getting enough rain today.
  7. The entire southwest will be considered death valley in about 20 years. Barstow broke the record by 7 degrees....literally insane.
  8. Freezing this morning. Got offered a position in west palm beach through my employer. Going back and forth on taking it. Have to take care of my mom or I think I would be a Floridian right now.
  9. July 14th-22nd Buffalo is warmest for Buffalo, starts dropping on July 23rd. Overall August is a much warmer month than June is. Early June can still be quite chilly, pretty rare in August. Early June averages here are comparable to Mid September.
  10. I think July/Aug are the warmest months in Phoenix. Month Low High Jan 43.4°F 65.0°F Feb 47.0°F 69.4°F Mar 51.1°F 74.3°F Apr 57.5°F 83.0°F May 66.3°F 91.9°F Jun 75.2°F 102.0°F Jul 81.4°F 104.2°F Aug 80.4°F 102.4°F Sept 74.5°F 97.4°F Oct 62.9°F 86.4°F Nov 50.0°F 73.3°F Dec 43.5°F 65.0°F
  11. Oh I thought July/August were hotter. I just read something that its never been this hot this early in Phoenix. Figured July/Aug were warmer based on that.
  12. I didn't even realize it until it was almost too late. I did the hike from 10 am to 8 pm which was a terrible idea. I've done many hikes over 16 miles in one day, but nothing in that kind of heat. Its never hit 100 here in Buffalo, my body isn't used to that kind of heat.
  13. They say that, but I was just there last month hiking inside the grand canyon where the thermometer was 116 inside the canyon floor. No such thing as dry heat, its hot as **** out there. I drank gallons of water and my body after 16 miles of hiking shut down. Took 3-4 hours after I finished to process water again. It was beginning stages of heat stroke. We passed a girl with 5 EMTS around her throwing up. She had to be carried out.
  14. Insane, its only June, July/August are warmer out there then June is.
  15. Happening here 76 and full sun. Never trust a summer cool down with peak sun strength, very rare.
  16. Nice shelf cloud earlier today over the lake
  17. @Luke_Mages amazing shelf cloud! My neighbor texted me to go look out my backyard and rushed to the lake for this pic.
