  1. Going to lake George with my mom on Columbus Day weekend should be near peak
  2. So we won the lawsuit for the fence but the business failed to pay me. It’s an LLC so not sure what we can do…they probably dissolved the business and created a new one. Currently downtown at county court office issuing subpoenas to every bank in western New York. I’m learning so much about the law during this process. I still have it on my resume that I won in court, I should totally go to law school. I destroyed the guy in court.
  3. https://cheddar.com/media/will-this-winter-be-the-season-of-shivers
  4. It's officially fall! Average high/low today for KBUF is 68.7/51.1
  5. Good stuff wolf. My station was always so off that I never posted it here. It sits on my shed in the sun all day. I'm looking into getting a better one, that was a gift from my sister.
  6. I am pretty close to the lake so nighttime fall temps don't get cold here for quite awhile. I can also swim in my pool in the 60s without being too cold.
  7. I went swimming after work yesterday and again today. The next few weeks I'll be floating in the sun, probably close mid October or if first freeze is coming.
  8. A cold October doesn't do us much, keep the lakes warm for a cooler November and lets get rocking.
  9. We really do have the best sub-forum out of all regions. Everyone here is level headed and understanding. I can see myself being friends with everyone here.
  10. Did you send this data to KBUF? If not I was going to send tonight.
  11. OSU says he doesn't see how UHI explains that, all those other locations have asphalt and concrete too.
  12. I'm discussing this with a few Mets on the AMX discord. OSU and Stebo are both mets and Stebo works at the Detroit airport taking observations. Stebo said they check the instruments and inspect them all the time so its highly unlikely its an instrument issue. As we already discussed its most likely an urban heat issue. Everywhere I go in Buffalo there is construction.
  13. This has to be the year to get our clipper pattern going. They are more favored in La Nina years vs El Nino.
  14. All the stations update at different times, its tough to take those maps literally. That's my take as KBUF said nothing wrong with thermometer a few weeks ago.
