    A storm like that is once in a lifetime, likely never happens again but if it does this is gonna happen! That band is all snow, incredible rates in that thing.

    I just wish everyone here could experience what I did in Nov 2014. Nothing will ever compare to 88" of snow in 3 days. I don't care if it was "fake" snow it had 6-7" of QPF in it when sampled. Walking around in the middle of the 5-6" per hour stuff for hours on end was just incredible, hard to put into words. Having said that, those rates are increasing and expanding to our south, if that's all snow its about to come down 2-3" per.

    We were on other side of mountain, was too icy on that side.

    About 1” per in Ellicottville. The dendrites were very small at first but have turned into medium sized well accumulating flakes. Just ripping runs down the slopes everyone left when it started snowing.

    NAM 3km shows freezing rain on the backside of a low pressure system. I've never seen that before. That has to be sleet right?

    Yeah there is most likely going to be some sleet even here, especially if GFS is correct with track. That is pretty far NW.

    GFS still farthest NW camp, it has been the most accurate model so far with this storm.
