  1. BREAKING: City of Buffalo has issued a travel advisory due to the heavy snow fall. If you don't need to travel at this time- please don't. DPW crews are plowing mains & secondary roads. Those roads are snow covered but passable.
  2. March 2008 had a synoptic snowstorm that dropped 21.3" at KBUF. This might surpass that one.

  5. 14" here and still snowing, what a storm. We had 2-3 hours of very heavy sleet too...Just incredible
  6. Still at 7" storm total, going to wipe board in a little bit and measure when I wake up. PING PING PING!!!!
  7. That has to be the highest recorded snowfall rate in a synoptic event in Buffalos history.

  9. Its really heavy but doesnt come out that way on camera. Still epic stuff ...AN AREA OF HEAVY SNOW WILL AFFECT PARTS OF ONTARIO...LIVINGSTON... WYOMING...ORLEANS...WAYNE...GENESEE...MONROE...NIAGARA...AND NORTHERN ERIE COUNTIES... HAZARDS...An area of EXTREMELY heavy snow which can rapidly reduce visibility to less than a quarter of a mile. This area of heavy snow is producing extremely heavy snow at the rate of over 4 inches inches per hour. LOCATION AND MOVEMENT...At 1250 AM EST, the leading edge of the heavy snow was from Niagara Falls to Brockport moving north at 20 MPH.
