  1. Precip bust east of the storm with DC probably being the exception. 95 corridor is a huge dry slot.
  2. There was still quite a bit of rain from Isabel, enough to flood Dundalk. You're telling me that was the lesser precip side of the storm? Makes me wonder how bad it was out west.
  3. So given that the region lies on climatic boundaries it's obvious why we can bust with snow in winter, but what causes rainfall to bust in warmer seasons?
  4. How likely is it for the eastern side of the storm to bust in terms of rainfall?
  5. Watch this turn into a nor’easter while it’s over us like Isaias did.
  6. Why is it that forecasts of anything above an inch and a half get walked back and it never goes back up?
  7. No, I mean DC was forecasted ~4" earlier, now it's forecasted ~2"
  8. If rain totals get significantly walked back will there be a "What went wrong" write up?
  9. WBAL said 3.3" for Baltimore City.
  10. Budding Niña years like this usually have 80s well into October
  11. 31 more days until meteorological fall.
  12. August starts with another heat wave.
  13. Where would we want this to go for a good shot at widespread rain?
  14. And I’m in a downpour right now.
  15. And yet I got flooded with weenie reactions when I pre-emptively wrote off the next 2 winters in the speculation thread. Nina blizzards are an oxymoron these days.
  16. I wonder if I-81 will enter exceptional drought for the first time in 20+ years.
