  1. Yup, gfs and icon are keeping it suppressed again. Yikes.
  2. There's still plenty of time for things to change. Sounds like people are thinking this is locked in place.
  3. That moisture being so far north of the low is odd.
  4. ZR on Thurs? I am not seeing that anywhere? I hope we dont get ZR.
  5. We need to slow down that NW shift. Remember what happened last week? We don't want any warm influence. That doesn't seem likely, but it could come into play.
  6. 0z GFS still suppressing the storm. Southern ga gets snow though
  7. Whatever happens, gonna be cold as f Monday through Thursday.
  8. Why are people jumping off a cliff already? We are back and forth. It's not like the storm has completely vaporized. Hang in there. Plenty of time for all of us
  9. Euro and euro-ai not looking good for most.
  10. ALL the models will be wrong for some of us at any given time. Its mother nature after all.
  11. Not really, just a blend of all of them at this point. Although the CMC always seems to more wrong than the others.
  12. LMFAO. The coast of GA and SC getting 15 inches of snow? Funny shit.
  13. If it's too slow, could be suppressed.
  14. Monster storm with 8 days to go. What could go wrong?
  15. Its just the Euro, no other models as of yet.
  16. Yes, this is not happening. But if it did, it would literally kill people and cause so much damage, it's not even funny.
  17. Cold was overdone previously. Sure, its probably gonna be cold, but i highly doubt the cold the ECMWF is predicting is accurate.
  18. The problem is, it got it right this time. Will it the next one? Maybe, maybe not. This storm was a tough one to figure out.
  19. This makes no sense. I am forecast for high of 50 on 1/15, and 55 on 1/16, with lows around 30.
  20. So me being a dumbass, didn't realize there was an OBS thread.... I am 40 miles south of ATL, wound up with around 1/2" to an 1" snow/sleet, then it flipped to freezing rain all afternoon until around 10 pm last night. Everything was glazed over with a decent amount of ice. Fortunately we stayed at 32 overnight, most of the ice is gone, but whatever snow we had is just about gone too. I expect it will all be gone by this afternoon. Nice little storm, more than anyone has had in a while. We should all be thankful.
  21. LOL. Not in the Atlanta area. Overperformed there. Only thing that ruined it, was the transition to rain, which was expected. 22. 31 degrees, and rain. A coating of ice on everything. Guessing the power is about to go out for a lot in the Atlanta area. Getting bad
