  1. Ironically, I am right by that .8. Talk about the screw zone! Local mets saying to get out of the drought conditions we would need around 20 to 25 inches of rain the next couple of months. I'd be shocked if we get that much rain in the next year.
  2. Unfortunately I just looked this morning. Same for Georgia. Absolutely zilch through May 3rd. You would think with the heat we would get some rogue tstorms. Big fat nothing. The clay has turned into permanent cement, and is now starting to crack open in many spots on my property.
  3. What in the F!!!!!!!????????. That's just pure hell.
  4. Agree, it's hard to break this pattern. It's rained twice in the last 2 months. Yes, twice. Add that to the dry fall and winter....yikes. Everyone around here has not had to mow their lawn/weeds yet. If they do, it's nothing but dust.
  5. Grounds at Augusta haven't looked worse. Sprinklers can only do so much
  6. I obviously was being sarcastic. Models not budging on zero precip for the next 16 days unfortunately. Not even a pop up storm.
  7. Same here. Unfortunately my town has some of the highest water rates in the country.
  8. November? We all will be burned down to nothingness by then. This is beyond ridiculous.
  9. Weak front moving through, MAYBE we wind up with a quarter inch of rain. The next 3 weeks look DRY.
  10. Yup, was 65 last Saturday, and my wife was complaining how chilly it was. I told her the normal high is 67.
  11. Well, GA has set a record for least amount of rainfall from Sept to April. We are in trouble. Add the legal burning they do down here, is a recipe for disaster.
  12. Disgusting!!! A week ago, models were showing 3 inches. Now a half inch for the next 2 weeks.
  13. Whatever green up I have is starting to go dormant already due to the drought. Been 11 months now with very little moisture. When does the cycle break?
  14. We need more than that. Better than nothing I guess
  15. Very cool this weekend after 85 on Thursday and Friday. That cold blast last week screwed up my plants. My day lilies have yellowed leaves, azaleas black leaves, and dead buds. Also my gardenias buds are black. This up and down weather has ruined my spring plants.
  16. Pollen count at 6800, add on top of that its burning season. WTF, my lungs!!!!!!!!
  17. We only bottomed out at 29 this morning due to some cloud cover. Thankfully this cold blast is moving on. Yesterday literally felt like a January day in NY. Back to the mid 80's this weekend. Oh, and btw, it's that green time of the year. Pollen started 2 weeks ago. It's God awful. Probably another 4 weeks of green dust on everything. My allergies are terrible.
  18. We definitely will dip below the 26 we hit at 7am this morning. It's currently only 41 with brisk winds. Feels like January.
  19. 28 degrees at 5:30 am, will probably drop another degree or 2 before sunrise. This blows. A forecast high of 48 with wind chills in the low 30's this afternoon. We usually have outdoor activities for st Pat's day downtown. I'll stay home. I already see black on the tips of just bloomed perennials. Wondering how much damage there will be to plants and such that bloomed already.
  20. With 2 nights in a row in the mid 20's, it definitely could go dormant again. Yes, you are right, with low 80's again this weekend, it should bounce right back. Temp down to 37 now, definitely gonna see some backend snow.
  21. Yup, sleeting here now with a temp of 38. I was in my pool yesterday. This is nuts. My Bermuda grass is 80% green. Say goodbye to that after tomorrow morning. Not happy about that.
  22. Wouldn't be a typical morning in GA without a tornado watch in March. Picked up 3/4 inch or rain so far. Going down to 24 tonight, back in the 80's Friday. Crazy
