Rates have been pretty meh so far in Holtsville, picking up a bit now, but I think it'll be a struggle to get anything over 4-5" with how fast the storm will depart. Still, a snow day and the most snow in years, cheers guys! We got one! Haha

Thankfully my district on the Island has done away with the option of remote for snow days.

Came home to the south shore after working in Port Jeff...night and day. I mean amounts are miniscule in both areas, but the south shore got way less.

Really solid snow in Port Jeff at the moment.

Just watched a car spin a 360 on the road next to my school. Not very excited for the 45 min ride home at 2:30. Freezing rain continues in Port Jeff, temp is at 31.

Snowing pretty well in Port Jeff. Side roads and even Nichols road we're not great on the drive in.

Mets game is cancelled. Yet Pier 17 still going through with an outdoor concert. Shameful.

Well this seems like it'll be quite the event, so glad I have an outdoor concert that's rain or shine in NYC tomorrow. If even half what the models are outputting come to pass, what a miserable day/night. Still, as a weather nerd this is impressive as all get out.
