Black to flies like to swarm around your head and periodically bite, but they're slow. Deer flies ping your head non stop then occasionally get your neck. I found wearing a hat helps quite a bit for them. I'll literally be on the ATV looking back and they'll be right on my tail.

It was nice for like 3 hours between the morning rain and then the stinger on the back end, and then misery mist the rest of the day, even for central areas. So phail overall except for maybe the bluefish in Nantucket sound. It's not going to be great in either nne or sne this weekend. One gets drenched, the other gets clouds with frequent showers.

Was driving on 128, South of the Pike on Friday, the Norway maples are already showing green. Def leaf out for them by end of week.

Yeah all winter was super windy. Tip was talking about this, but something along the lines of warming earth means more energy in the atmosphere so more wind.
