    I stay at Gifford's woods every year for a week. Good Central location for visiting surrounding areas of VT, plus a good amount right in Killington area also. NH mountains are much more rugged and impressive, but a lot busier IMO.

    It can easily get over 100° in August I'm not sure what folks are talking about.

    It'll be fine, sometimes I wonder if covers are more a hassle than they are worth. They also become a bee haven.

    It doesn't like shade, which is good. The 2 neighbors have it but we have about 100' of kinda swampish woods that keeps it away I think....for now.

    Maybe the night time temps. Tip always mentions how it seems we end up with warmer than normal night time lows, but that our day time high temps are meh, while the rest of the world chars.
