  1. I think I found the slant stick ruler to use for this storm?
  2. Time to pin this? becoming a moderate event for many.
  3. A few inches would go a huge way in refreshing the sled trails throughout the region, especially low elevations
  4. Nice. Could use a little refresher. The pack is looking quite stale now with the above freezing temps everyone has had the last couple days.
  5. Yup, I was 14°, but going through the pit near Devens on RT2 it was 0. At least on the car. Fakeiators.
  6. Absolutely there is melting on southern exposed pavement. Even the part of my lawn that I plow is now more exposed. It's not crazy melting, but it's more than if we had these temps around Christmas.
  7. Even if we got some 3-4" Arctic sand clipper refreshers, that would be nice to keep the winter vibe going. You would think with all the cold shots at least some moisture would be rung out.
  8. It really is. I face South, and the last 2 days where the spots where pavement is exposed have expanded drastically. Lots of refreezed crust ice at the edges, a tell tale sign of melting.
  9. Based on the discussion in here, this thing is totally done lol.
  10. Yup, same. 0 at my house, but got to the little hollow at the end of my road and it was -4. Passed through Leominster and it was 5. Fake cold can be extreme.
  11. Is that a lot of ground to cover between now and then? Judging on history, seems like a 25 mile change is almost a now-cast movement.
  12. But what reasons does it have to trend west? And the answer is, none.
  13. Why doesn't anyone use the NAVGEM anymore? It's good enough for the Navy!
  14. Ugh, she gone. They hardly ever come back in today's day and age.
  15. He's a famous musician who has to go and perform
  16. Glad to hear as I'll be in your neck of the woods riding snow machines this weekend. Just as good as Pittsburgh when there is snow, and no crowds.
  17. Really picked up the last 20 mins or so. I think we'll be the second mini-jacque area after the South shore.
  18. That was crazy, most snow of I've ever seen here and is was all ultra wet Sierra cement. Tried to plow all at once at the end, which obviously didn't go well.
  19. Low pressure before a storm makes them bite? Not too bad out since there is no wind.
  20. Hey Free Greta are you up near the airport or down in the lowlands near the lake? Could easily be a 4" difference between the 2.
