@HoarfrostHubbmeh here. Thought we'd have a school delay but roads were fine. They did plow at least. Too bad it didn't come in during morning rush, could have WFH.
@Damage In Tollanddo you think with this continued stein, it could set us up with a nice spring inferno potential? Those super dry, sunny, and windy April days can be dangerous.
Good winter overall. The mild ups between middle of DEC to middle of JAN were disappointing during the middle of the season, along with not getting a few more SWFEs.
That storm was so insane lol. Highest rates and totals I've ever seen, and it was pure cement. It was almost too much, got my plow truck stuck horribly. Also lost power.
Absolutely there is melting on southern exposed pavement. Even the part of my lawn that I plow is now more exposed. It's not crazy melting, but it's more than if we had these temps around Christmas.
Even if we got some 3-4" Arctic sand clipper refreshers, that would be nice to keep the winter vibe going. You would think with all the cold shots at least some moisture would be rung out.
It really is. I face South, and the last 2 days where the spots where pavement is exposed have expanded drastically. Lots of refreezed crust ice at the edges, a tell tale sign of melting.
