  1. Lets make it 29f and thundersnow in nyc in a few..that should give us some excitement and hush up the snowmans of the world.
  2. As it gets in to deeper cold its snow even for nyc. One thing is for sure the intense precip on radar is aimed at nyc,we might get some wild snowfall before any change or mixing occurs.
  3. Diff of models only come down to actual placement of the primary low, it's movement isnt as northerly as the nam has it. Any redevelopment south and east of nyc would prob keep us mostly frozen with a dying low on the southern pa border. Also precip shield wont be as spotty this time.
  4. Yes, also the primary is not going in to buffalo,ny as everyone keeps saying. There is a pretty strong high keeping everything moving more ene then nne this time.
  5. Lets not forget the precip shield that wasnt. That really was the deathnail. If it had came in heavy those amounts verify.
  6. Only positive seen is no northern kicker just a high. The coastal would have to really take over early to stop the warm surge. Im still confident for snow here though. 2-4 inches of snocone on the ground imo.
  7. Yeah that is odd,i havent heard pinging yet but i think it goes all snow once the heavy slug of moisture comes thru. Its snow covered in the bronx right now.
  8. So far so good on no mixing here. Also the winds switched from ese to ene, should help us here for a little bit for more snow up here.
  9. 29/23f lgt snow currently and a coating down, the mix line is also retreating back south and west as the heavier stuff moves in.
  10. It's tilting nnw, also a low just popped up right off the sc coastline. Dunno if and how much that might keep the mousture close to the coast upstream. Interestingly enough we do have a snow sky outside currently.
  11. The way its dark out,you would think it's about to snow here. Another one we just missed.
  12. Yeah i am actually excited to see snow fall in no,la and mobile al. Not to mention northern florida, for most americans period, it is a first in their lifetime witnessing it. Personally i have never seen it snow in new orleans and im 41.
  13. Lafayette,la with more snow this winter then nyc when all is said and done.
  14. To my credit i did mention how many fronts, boundries and disturbances are around us rn. The lagging low wasnt really modeled to hang around but its still snowing here in the bronx
  15. The true ccb is starting to take shape. The current low is just south of islip li atm. The pressure chart shows where the lows were. im assuming its throwing back moisture into the metro ..li and eastern parts of jersey..
