  1. Hardest snow of the night falling rn. Those bands are over nyc currently. More to the west and south incoming.
  2. As of 2 am. The low is just south and east off Cape may n,j.
  3. There might some good rates later, the radar is lighting up to our sw. Some added moisture from the gulf is helping rn.
  4. Limited g.o.m moisture is making it up the apps. Enhancing the precip in northern va and md currently. All that is riding up in to our area later.
  5. You guys had some mixing issues and dry air at the start but it should def be picking up a bit atm. It's a steady light snow up here in the nw bronx.
  6. Snowing nicely here. It's been snow since the start. Radar is really starting to expand also. The city and l.i are gonna do well here
  7. 37/27f here. Not too bad of a starting point. Also temps should start dropping slowly since sunset is approaching
  8. The radar is showing where this precip is to,nyc looking better with each short range model output. It actually aligns well with the current radar. Im sticking to my 3-5 inches of fluff, some spots of 6. Any bump north would put most of the city in that 6 inch range as well.
  9. 6z gfs also improved, bumped up the snow totals a bit.nam also..
  10. The 12z nam also shows snow showers for tonight. It's def trending that way.
  11. Good ole alberta clippers,I remember growing up as a teen in the 90's. They had a clipper coming thru every 3 to 5 days it seems. The 90's was an epic time for winter weather also tbh.
  12. We get a little something for the mood, just not what they getting n and w. It's 32/27f here. Still northerly winds,I'm banking on a burst of moderate to heavy snow before rain.
  13. It's still at freezing here. The gradient is crazy from the water even at coney island to yonkers,ny. Our winds are still northerly here though. It's keeping that cold air right at the cont shelf.
  14. Out there yes,it's a se flow. Here in the city we still have a northerly flow. It's 31/26 with a nne wind here in the bronx. Whatever precip makes it here will fall likely fall frozen. Winds haven't shifted southerly yet..
  15. It's crazy how much bust potential is involved here, any tick s and e and we all back in the game. All it takes is a mile here or 10 miles there. Also 0z gfs ticked cooler. Patterson,nj is now the furthest west the rain falls.
  16. Rooting for the N models, nam and navgem. Both bring snow to nyc in the backend. Interestingly enough,my forecast went from mostly rain to rain and snow for tomm. I do believe we get backend flakes though.
