  1. I've been sticking to my snow guns for a few days ,no quitting now. Let's hit the foot mark in the next hour or 2. Rn we are sprinting to it!!.
  2. If we dont change or barely change and go back..we might measure snow with yard sticks. Thats a guaranteed 16 to 20 inch amounts across the northern parts of nyc.
  3. As of now your at 10.1 as le. Im right [email protected] here. We are cranking snow in these parts, comparable to amounts across nw jersey and upstate ny rn.
  4. Seems like the sweet spot runs across the north shore of l.i,across to northern queens and the bronx, right into upper Manhattan. These places have over 7+ inches already, some spots near 9.
  5. All the models playing catchup with snow totals. All off by inches not an inch.
  6. Im less then 5 inches away from 13. Its looking good so far.
  7. Hard to measure but we def have 7+ across the borough, its ripping rn.
  8. 10/9f with heavy snow currently. Most of the bronx already has between 8 and 9 inches down. the temps haven't gone anywhere. Double digits are in sight here in the bx.
  9. The coastal front is developing it seems. Places like the bronx and northern Manhattan stay frozen, mix briefly back to snow. East of that coastal front ice/rain.
  10. Im just about@8 inches here..heavy snow currently with nne winds, keepin it snow for a while more...I see 12 to 16 easy here. If that coastal keeps deepening then all bets are off. There is some hint of a transfer going on rn off the nc/va coast. Still 9 degrees btw.
  11. They weeni'd your map and it's still gonna verify for most parts.
  12. A hint of a transfer?? Some models have the mix line reach nyc ,then crash back south. We want that coastal to deepen, primary weakens.
  13. Nice range in numbers, the bronx by now near 7. You guys at 3 on eastern l.i. west to east ..
  14. I can confirm bud. Over 5 here,near 6 rn. Its still 9 degrees here.we jp here.
  15. Because it has!. Snowing at 9/10 degrees rn is something most of us haven't experienced in nyc EVER!. I've blown past 5 approaching 6 inches already. 12 to 14 looking likely up here.
  16. The city ranges are 3 to 5 already..the 8 inch mark is a guarantee now, especially with how hard its snowing rn.
  17. Im telling you if this were to phase off the delmarva.. as of now there is a chance since a disturbance is already off the coast. Models show the primary coming up in to southern pa dunno about that... 9/9f.. Heavy snow currently. 4.8 down, might be 5 by the time I post this.
  18. The lul lasted 6 minutes, now its heavy again. A foot is a 80% lock now across nyc.
  19. Weak coastal off hatteras,nc currently, the tug of war has started. This is where models start to waffle. Almost every model has the weak coastal just off the nj coast later.
  20. Its crazy because i put the chart up for ratios,a lot of folks weren't buying it. Rn im at 26 to 25 to 1@9 degrees. Close to 4@home.
  21. Bingo. A lot of people disregarded the initial ratios. Im snowing at 9 degrees. 3 to 4 inches out here already and snowing hard. When the thumping precip gets here, ohhhh babyy!!.
  22. In the brief time snowing, ive gotten 3+ inches already. Currently heavy snow,9/7f. This The type of snow you can see pile up per min.
  23. Precip is racing in. Faster start time = more snow. Even if it changed over by 5 pm,that's 12 hours of heavy snow,if it started at 5am. Ill let everyone do their own math for shits and giggles.
