Awesome both these guys deserve it. Snownuts is the only member that's always been respectful and kind to me. And training is the only person here that if I could take back some of the nasty things that i've said in the past I would. Congratulations fellas.

Based on the forecast my plan was to get what I could off my driveway when I got home from my walk this morning then, after a nap hopefully come out and either blow powder or sleet encrusted powder off my driveway and walkways. Well, we know how that turned out. Fortunately, surface temps kept the sleet easy to remove with a snow blower without sticking and clogging without the use of silicone spray. Anyways, I'm super stoked about these bone-chilling nights coming up. As far as I'm concerned, any extreme weather, it is a beautiful day or night in my little golden book. I'm looking so forward to getting out and seeing some of those amazing snow-covered sunrises that make me struggle for words because of there beautiful clarity and biting cold sucking all the air out of my two cycle, exhaust coated lungs.

When I was out taking my measurements and the scooping off sleet there was a little light snow that change to sleet. I'm still adding trace amounts to my total.

I was definitely out in some heavy stuff myself this morning , but I think flake quality definitely killed my totals early compared to folks just north of me. The sound of the flake doesn't lie.

I'm glad you killed it out there today . On to the next hopefully.

I was a little late getting out there for my second measurement at 8:00PM so there was surely some compaction, but I added 1.75 of sleet and snow after I brushed off initial measurement at 11:00AM of 6.375 for a total 8.125 of snow and sleet today. Now that said, I walked over to my neighbor's and took a one time measurement at 8:00PM off his open concrete slab, and measure'd. 8.5" that i'm sure has got squashed down from the sleet. The first 2 pictures are from my backyard. The second two picture or from my neighbors concrete slab. So maybe I did a little better than I initially thought. Below is my neighbor's concrete slab.

I noticed when I was blowing my driveway that It definitely seemed like I had more than 6.5" I'm wondering if snow blew off my board. After I eventually get a nap I'm gonna go out and take some more measurements from the field.

It's been everything from mix to snow to all sleet here over the last two hours. I've added maybe .5 inch since I've cleaned my diving board at 11::00.I still had a f****** blast since a few hours before the snow started last night. I think I'm off to try to get some z's so I can maybe catch the second half of the first playoff game today. Hopefully, when I wake up, there's shit tons more snow for everyone to remove. .

Home sweet home. We'll my neighbors home anyways . I find it alot more quaint and photogenic then my home .

. All thought the snow does seem to be a nice powder I noticed about an hour ago that the snow is definitely making some noise on the hood of my snowsuit.I'm not saying we're changing anytime soon but I am surprised that these flakes have been making so much noise hitting my hood.

Fifty years old and boundless energy, hell yeah. Healthy heart,highly unlikely . But if i'm gonna go out, I can't think of any better way then over exerting myself in a snowstorm after a chili cheese dog and a chocolate milk.

Loving my gear. I've been outside since the flake started falling I'm dry and toasty, my snowsuit shell is almost like being in the cab of a vehicle in my marino, wool under layers are doing what marino wool does.

Down here at I83 lewisberry Rd exit 35. Yeah, thank God there's barely anybody out, but there are a few brave souls. The interstate definitely has a nice layer compacted snow, so you know, it's slick down there.

I definitely underestimated the amount of snow once I walked out away from my buddy's house and got on to the road. There. was probably closer to or just slightly over 1" when I left his house. I've stopped to breather and post under the overhang at phat boy's pizza. Light snow at the moment.Hopefully things pick up.I was hoping for a challenge tonight and to finally test out this storm gear I bought seven years ago.
