Most dismissed the Ukie, but it could have been right. -
It wasn't non-qpf. It had 1.4" for my hood.

GFS almost never fails to verify a 10 day cutter, lol. The end of this 18z run has warm heavy spring rains to Maine. Goodbye whatever pack is left after that cutter.

I'm sick of all these elongated and multiple lows this winter, with each one chasing the other's convection.

In terms of timing, the Ukie was similar to the GFS, while the Euro is slower. Hopefully it will catch up and give a colder solution.

That's why it's a warmer solution. Gives more time for the arctic air mass to depart.

Given some major differences lately between the GFS and the Para, it's not surprising that they have delayed its implementation.

I wonder how much the tv mets use the Euro these days. That model has become more robust with each run since 0z Sunday, yet these mets don't seem to give it much weight.
