  1. Yeah, I think it is. I didn't catch that post because I think I put him on ignore a long time ago. He only shows up when there's a potential storm he can cause trouble over. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  2. Yep. All you can do is laugh at this point. This has happened to us so often over the years that I stopped getting worked up about it a long time ago. It is what it is. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  3. Yep. We're destined for slop once again followed by bitter cold. I say no thanks to both of those things, but that's how it's looking. Shocker. Lol Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  4. I'm pretty much already accepting that the WTOD is going to get us once again. Showing all the signs of that. If I get pleasantly surprised, then great. Not holding my breath since, like you said, this has happened so often to us. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  5. Has the look of another slopstorm. Seems like once these storms trend poorly for us they don't come back.
  6. If I were a betting man, I'd bet on this scenario. It's just happened to us so many times with Allegheny County usually being the dividing zone.
  7. I guess once again, the timing is going to have to be perfect. When that low or lows ride up the front as it's moving through. I guess the UKIE has the low moving up the front quicker or the front coming in slower?
  8. I'm tempted to just not look at any run to any model until at least Wednesday.
  9. I wasn't so much concentrating on the number as I was the hole in the precip that was modeled over Allegheny County that seems to be happening right now. And those heavier returns in Ohio seem to be trying to make it over this way but falling short. I haven't had a chance to measure as I've been out and about, but looks like around an inch to me so far where I've been anyway. Just eyeballing it though. Will be keeping an eye on Ohio to see of some of that can make it this far. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  10. I posted this map of the GFS a few days ago. Seems to be coming to fruition. We're in a bad spot yet again. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  11. Dry spells with big storms for me. Snow showers and dustings just don't do it for me. I am enjoying what's coming down right now anyway. I know we aren't going to get near what some others are going to get, but I'm out in it and it's pretty out right now. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  12. I said that exact same thing in a post last season when they got nailed down there. I go down there for vacation every year anyway. May as well move there so I can see some decent storms in the winter. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk

  14. We get the hole yet again. Lol Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  15. Seems like they've been really hitting the jackpot with storms in recent years. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  16. My favorite storm of all time. I couldn't have been in a better spot for that storm in Westmoreland County. Picked up 27 inches in one day and most of it fell during the day. I doubt I'll ever be lucky enough to see anything like that one again. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  17. You made a wise choice getting out of Bethel Park to experience some real snow. Lol Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  18. NWS doesn't seem to be buying any of it right now. Just slight chances of snow showers. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  19. I'd love for that to happen but just don't see it this close to the event. This will be another miss for us most likely. Nothing we're not used to around here. Virginia and North Carolina are probably going to get nailed. I think they've seen more big storms than we have in recent years. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  20. It's pretty comical to look at a radar and see a green blotch over the Pittsburgh area while everyone else is seeing snow. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  21. My NWS forecast is getting bleaker and bleaker every time I check it. Basically calls for slop and less than an inch of snow. Been through this before. At least it's only November although I'm sure we'll have plenty more of these.
  22. Might see our first snowflakes of the season Saturday night into Sunday morning. Nothing like going from summer to winter in a matter of a week or so. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
