Glad I'm not the only one enjoying a day like this. All that brutal cold day after day, week after week, just gets old along with the giant mounds of snow everywhere. Finally got to wash my car and get that metal eating, paint eating salt off of it. Good to have a day where you can walk outside and your face doesn't hurt! Lol

NWS has a possible freezing rain to rain scenario as of now. Temps in the upper 30s Sunday.

I'm glad someone else on here said it before me! [emoji23] Honestly, I'm glad the last one missed us. The brutal cold and mounds of snow everywhere starts to get old. I love snowstorms and loved the last one, but I like a little bit of a thaw after to clean some of it up at least. I know the snowpack guys here will hate me for saying this, but I'm more about the event itself than having snow all over the place for weeks after. I don't mind if there is some melting after. I live in an apartment that has giant mounds of snow everywhere in the lot and it's been tough to find parking around all of it. Anyway, that's just me. Lol

I noticed the yellows and reds kind of faded off as that part of the precip moved into Allegheny County. Just got heavy snow out of it but no sleet thankfully.

I grew up near there. A little town called Mendon.

That one heavy band they got earlier just sat over them for a while. I think it was 2 to 3 inch an hour rates while it lasted.

Now we get to enjoy some rare daylight snow! I've been up most of the night. I don't care. How often do we get something like this? Coffee will be my friend today. Lol

It sure is. I don't think I've seen snow this heavy in a long time. It's mesmerizing to watch.

This week has been a much needed distraction for me. It's been fun tracking this with you guys. Now, we get to finally enjoy what we've been tracking.

I stopped sweating this stuff years ago. I've been through too much personally that's way worse than busting on a snowstorm. Lol I'm just going to enjoy the ride and whatever happens happens. It's been fun to track all week and now it's finally almost here.

Oh I know. My forecast has been consistent with 2am.
