Thinking there are gravity waves pulsing from E to W...can see one here (focus on radar ground zero):

Anyone got a radar view of any lake enhancement on the south shore?

Only snow event I was ever too scared to go out into was the October 2011 blizzard in CT. Trees were snapping left and right under the weight of the snow and wind. That was a legitimate natural disaster for the state.
Similar to our '91 ice storm... Sounded like shotgun fire every minute for hours. No wind.

This should be a blizzard warning on lake shore counties
Agreed. I didn't expect these winds.

I didn't think gusts we're included, inte butresting it still has to be sustained at 35MPH for 3 straight hrs correct? If thats the type of storm you guys are experiencing, thats awesome and congrats and I hope we get in on the action as it has just begun to pound here.

Still online Tim?

There was actually a legit band of East to West lake snow hitting the West end of the lake earlier today. i wouldn't have believed it if I didn't see it for myself. Very interesting as delta T's shouldnt have allowed it. I should have grabbed a screen shot.
I mentioned it in an earlier post...created a gif from the COD site. Definitely a legit band.

What was your intention of posting this vid?

Would be nice to see the name-calling/labeling ended in the climate change section...this isn't Junior High... weenie, denier, alarmist, etc. gets old very quickly. Don't you all agree?

Check out my post above...the one you're referring to is some banding...I think there are gravity waves in there as well. You can see it pushing into Eastern LO and enhancing the precip.
