  1. I’d much rather go to a friends backyard pool so to each is own.
  2. I’m a big fan of Sep weather down here. Still warm but cooler nights with fizzling dews. Almost there.
  3. Submerged in the ocean of various sea life ass juices isn’t that much better.
  4. I never swim in the ocean. Not a fan. I go in to about knee deep, at best. I like pools.
  5. Thank goodness for K Pop fans...they are our friends.
  6. Nice dude. Great to hear. The game is fun when we turn the corner and start striking it more consistently. Of course at our level, we will have blown ups and frustrating holes or rounds...but when we find something that helps us improve, it’s refreshing.
  7. Yea. The WAR steers the moisture into the region. Reminiscent of the awful Aug 2018 but this time we need the rain.
  8. Had a 2min sprinkle about an hour ago that moistened the grass no more than a dewy morning does.
  9. This has been a game changer for me lately. For anyone who hangs their weight too much on their backside and struggles to get forward early...this is a must watch. This video is more than just irons too...it’s a very simple way to think about your golf swing. Love the way how this guy teaches too.
  10. Just got back from the range and I must admit...feels pretty good out there. I’m drenched but as long as you stay hydrated, it’s a good workout. Now, for someone who has to be out there all day...it’s terrible. But an hour out ain’t that bad. I think I’m getting old though because I used to hate this trash.
  11. Have it on a Friday or Saturday night so folks can use it as their own private virtual party?
  12. I did notice the lower sun angle while driving west around 630pm today so the good news is...only a matter of time before that late summer feel of warm days and cool nights kicks in the door.
  13. I’m leaning subpar winter myself. Until something positive happens in 2020...bet on persistence, of dogshit.
  14. I bought stiff Titliest woods a few years back but couldn’t hit them so I threw them aside and basically forgot about them. After your advice yesterday, I figure’d I give them a try for the rest of the season, starting today, before getting fitted and felt the difference right away. It’s not magic but it certainly helps. Thanks.
  15. 40/44 at Pound Ridge. Used a different set of woods (stiff shaft) which made a big difference. Had a blow up +4 on 15 with two penalties but other than that...striped it pretty well. Solid improvement off the tee, some leaked right so have to work on bowing the left wrist some more. I beat my bosses too. Happy with my round especially on a very tough course.
  16. Nice dew down wed-sun before it spikes back up to start Aug...but we should start seeing the gradual step down in the LR.
  17. You’re right. The more I talk to folks, that’s the next step I should take.
  18. It’s a friendly convo here, no worries. But I don’t carry a driver when I’m playing somewhat competitively (with others) but if I’m playing by myself, sure. I’ll smack a couple. The issue lately isn’t even my driver though...it’s my fairway woods that I generally/used to hit them solid. So, my off the tee game has put me in bad spots. My strong game is approach, around the green, and putting. So, tomorrow where it’s pretty competitive playing in a 4some...I can’t just smack a couple off the tee for practice. I may just 4i/5i it 200yds and have it in play for my strong my part of my game to make a bigger impact. I know, it’s not the manly thing to do but I’d rather keep it short and move straight ahead then spray it around the course hitting from other fairways lol.
  19. Yea. It’s part confidence and part mechanical. I honestly haven’t used it for years on the course. Only on the range. I can get a hold of it there sometimes...like 1 out of 5. So it doesn’t give me to confidence to bust it out competitively. 20% chance of a good strike doesn’t exactly get me excited to use it. Maybe I just haven’t found the right driver that feels good. I’ve only had two. I may finally invest in getting fitted this winter...go from 20% to 30% lol.
  20. That’s the first blame. Then the ball. Maybe the course. Finally, I’ll blame myself...but only after all external options have been exhausted first.
  21. Because I like to keep the ball in play and not have to take a penalty stroke. I prefer to score well then be a wannabe big shot.
