  1. 40 beers are you’re still upright…impressive.
  2. How were the nina to nino transition for summeh’s?
  3. It’s happened in Apr and May in the past but after this awful winter closing in on futility, something similar would be a hoot.
  4. It would be pretty funny if we did a reverse Oct11. Warm March and everyone starts leafing out, working on their yards, waxing vehicles…and here comes a month end or early April HECS.
  5. 1888 incoming….plows on horses and oxens are on standby.
  6. I thought we would see improvements by now so lesson learned. CNE/NNE did get a decent short stretch but the gradient never moved far enough south for SNE. You don’t learn anything from great winters though. They’re awesome of course but they also raise ridiculous expectations. I hope some on here who are used to bathing themselves with KUs after KUs have come down off their Ron Washington high…and gain a fresh perspective aligned with reality.
  7. Like move the western edge to align along the CT/NY border instead and it’s game over for everyone. Give the accordion the 60”, I don’t care.
  8. Unless it is displaced 100mi east, covering the entire region.
  9. There are a good amount of ridiculous pics online. This one caught my eye:
  10. You still thinking March can deliver something special? Not talking about a baby warning event but moreso Mar56 type of closing…
  11. Definitely. Some bad variance with me not experiencing any upper echelon events the past 12years, most of mine are concentrated from 2003-2011 (1996 is the other), but more will come and they’ll come in bunches…hopefully.
  12. Yea I’m busting. I would too. Not only a huge storm but the snow removal wasn’t quite like it is now lol…so another added experience of a truly deep storm and winter.
  13. Better to reminisce then bitch about the current season imo.
  14. Lol. Not that I enjoy stealing snow but I’d love to see 40” someday and if that includes some thievery from SEMA, I’m all in.
  15. 1. Jan 96 - 26-28” in CNJ 2. Dec 10 - 24” in CNJ 3. Jan 11 - 22” in WCT 4. Feb 06 - 21” in NNJ 5. Feb 03 - 20” in CNJ Jan11 I timed a visit to my then gf now wife in DXR lol. But I have yet to experience an 18+ event living in CT since I moved up here in July 11. Oct 11 was great in DXR obviously but I never measured above 16”.
  16. The difference is I remember that one because I was so snake bitten from Jan15 that I tracked Mar17 like a damn bloodhound. My wife took a video of me praying two nights before the storm came lol. I wanted it to be THE one so bad and when it became clear it wasn’t, again, I can easily remember the details. I don’t remember it for being this great storm like you remember Feb13, unfortunately.
  17. Sick dude. For some reason I remember the event details like Will.
  18. It was kinda meh here only because most of it fell from 4-10am and then dryslotted with snizzle until the evening. I know 16” is a very good amount but how I get there is just as important to me.
  19. I think it’s because 2011 affected more metros like Philly, even with 4-10” while 2013 was mostly concentrated in NewEng.
  20. The nam lead the way and OKX choked again. They refused to reduce amounts for NYC Metro knowing the trend was north so people wouldn’t let their guard down. @MJO812 will confirm.
  21. Yea that’s what I have. That was an inside 48hr semi bust where we were supposed to get crushed with 20+ and after the first monster band came through in the morning and lifted north, it was crap snizzle for the remainder of the day. That’s the storm that deformed the catskills into NVT followed with some upslope. I think Stowe got 50” and people reported a weenie snorkeling his way to the mountain.
