If the trough keeps digging out west like that, again, then yea. It’s pretty funny though how the OP’s went from a ridge to a trough out there like they know it’s atmospherically impossible to have a ridge anywhere in that vicinity this cold season.

Cmc is a classic h5 KU evolution. Surface output is meaningless at this stage, as is the jack zone. But The ceiling for potential is as high as I have seen for the DC to Boston corridor in a very long time.

Cmc nukes the I95 corridor with a little LBSW but the take away is that a high ceiling pattern is closing in.

Hope it works out for your fam. Yea. Gfs came warmer/north for us while euro made a good jump south almost so much that they’ve practically criss crossed now lol. I’ll look in the morning.

We’re obviously looking in our BY’s but it was noticeable cooler/better for CT.

Euro definitely better with front end and cooler on sat compared to 12z…then gets a late ccb going from Ray to Jeff.

I plan to chase a big OES event at some point with my brother, when our kids are a little older. It’s on our bucket list.
