    Flood Warning up for part of the area including NE Philly -

    Flood Advisory for parts of the CWA (although for some reason missing my part of the city despite my now 1.30" of rain so far) - Currently 63 with moderate rain and dp 62.

    Have been getting some convection over the past half hour and just heard a thunder from it. Currently have light rain and 62 with dp 62 and 0.35" in the bucket so far.

    Made it up to 71 as a high yesterday after a low of 60. What was different yesterday was that there was the uncomfortable humidity. Am currently getting a heavy shower with >1"/hr rates and have 0.22" in the bucket so far at post time. Temp is 63 with dp 61.

    Another "Chamber of Commerce Day" this morning as I ran to the supermarket. Almost fallish cool breeze. Currently mostly sunny and 74 with lots of cirrus, and dp 55.

    About 10 minutes before sunrise it's currently clear and 60 with dp 53.

    That seems to have been a pattern where it's like downsloping off the Piedmont into the relatively flat coastal plane as it crosses the river and then boom!

    Thanks for that update! Agree that tornado alley has been moving east and especially on your side of the river!

    Mt. Holly confirmed an EF1 tornado in Blackwood, NJ this morning - I think that might be the first for the season in the CWA. After a low of 68 this morning, I made it up to 83 and with the frontal passage, the humidity has definitely dropped from earlier. It's currently 79 and mostly cloudy with peaks of sun, and dp 59.

    The line has cleared the coast and the sun is out with some puffy cumulus left in the storm's wake. It's currently 73 with dp 71. Final total from that round of rain was 0.85" and with the overnight 0.21", I have 1.06" for the 2-day event.

    Fireworks of convection all around although no audible thunder. Currently have 0.84" in the bucket with temp and dp 71.

    Getting a gully washer and heard one soft thunder. Now up to 0.80" in the bucket.

    FFW up. Getting > 1.5" hr rates. Currently up to 0.73" in bucket at post time.

    Line on my doorstep and convection around although not hearing any thunder (yet). Got 0.21"overnight and 0.42" so far this morning. Temp is 71 with dp 71.

    SPC SWDY1 has the southern part of the CWA in a "Marginal Risk" - Currently partly sunny now that the sun has managed to break through without doing the self-destruct, and a steamy 77 with dp 68. And as a note, I had my first "steamy windows" of the season this morning.

    Ended up hitting a high of 80 yesterday after a low of 58. What was most notable was that the humidity just spiked into something awful. I did pick up 0.10" of rain, mostly in the couple hours before midnight. After a low of 67 earlier this morning, It's still unsettled, attempting to clear one moment, and then clouding over the next, with current temp 71 and dp 69.

    Up to 77 now with dp 47. I think it's supposed to go up to the 80s today. Have started moving the overwintering tropicals out.

    Once the winds went calm overnight, I had some pretty efficient radiational cooling, dropping down to a low of 53 this morning about 10 minutes before sunrise. Have since gotten a few puffs of breeze the past hour and with full sun, and a cloudless sky, the temp has recovered nicely and I am up to 70 with dp a pleasant 46.

    Maxed out at 79 today with a lot of blue sky and some cirrus and just 30% humidity much of that time. It's currently clear and 70 just before sunset, with a dp of 47.

    I topped out at 84 yesterday with lower humidity and bottomed out at 56 this morning. It's currently all blue sky and 69 with dp a nice low 43.

    The full effect of frontal passage and drier air advecting in overnight meant I radiated and bottomed out at 56 this morning. The temp has since recovered and it's currently a clear and sunny 67 with dp 56.

    Ended up with a high of 79 today after a low of 66. Have had lots of high clouds today so the sun was in and out. Currently partly sunny and 73 with a much lower dp of 56.

    Ended up with 0.39" with the burst of showers. Currently overcast and 70 with dp 69.
