  1. Bottomed out at 33 here this morning and yup, with a dp low of 28 and calm conditions between 4 am & 7 am, there was frost on the cars. Currently 40 and clear.
  2. Here are the LSRs for Delaware County and for Bucks County -
  3. I was thinking that was near where you are (or at least north of you). I am really shocked that it was an EF2, which is rare around this area during the severe season, let alone when we are well into fall.
  4. Rebekah was post-tropical as of the 5 am update -
  5. Wow. I saw that the NWS confirmed an EF2 in Delco - I guess what was originally considered a "meh" line decided to prove that it had other plans. My sister who lives in Wyndmoor has had her power out since last night and and most of her township (Springfield in Montco) had outages including the schools (which were closed today due to that).
  6. Both my sisters (one in Delco and one in Montco) have power out. Heard the EAS around 11:30 pm and heard the wind roar, although I was expecting some lightning/thunder but didn't see/hear any, so this was mostly a gust front. Temp was 71 around 11 pm and once the front came through, fell off a cliff. Finished up with 0.65" or rain total yesterday and have 0.19" so far this morning. Currently down to 44 and clear but windy.
  7. Looks like Norman swooped in and put up a Severe Thunderstorm Watch for the Philly metro area - Meanwhile I'm up to 0.32" of rain for the day so far (spread throughout) and currently 70.
  8. 5 pm update (expected to go post-tropical overnight) -
  9. Ended up with 0.17" of rain yesterday spread over much of the day, with a low of 59 and high of 64. It's currently overcast and misty and a juicy 66 with 0.09" of rain so far that happened early this a.m.
  10. 5 am update (still expected to be post-tropical in a day or so) -
  11. 11 am update (now post-tropical and last advisory being issued) - Almost November, way up in the N. Atlantic, and shorter days, means cold!
  12. 5 pm discussion (at some point it will be impacted by that huge hurricane-looking low to its west) -
  13. Pretty sharp precip cutoff with the front and the sun had popped out about 30 minutes ago although there are some debris clouds around at the moment. Ended up with 1.43" of rain, with the heaviest rates between 11 am and noon (around 1"/hr). Low was 54 this morning and it hit 70 around an hour ago although currently it's down to 69 and mostly cloudy, with breaks in the ceiling where you can see the blue sky.
  14. I lucked out at the time. Where I lived (apartment) I had strategically parked my car on the WSW side of the building and since (around here) it was a 23F snow during much of the duration, so that made it a powdery snow - with probably 15 - 20:1 ratios. Once the wrap-around winds came through, my car was almost completely clear of snow with just a little powdery stuff on the front bumper. However with the successive plowing during the storm, one of the side streets by my complex had 6 - 7ft mounds along the sidewalks and cars that got stuck earlier during the storm, were buried and trapped in the middle of the smaller streets all around the neighborhood.
  15. Pablo continues to strengthen and is booking it past the Azores - MW still popping an eye here and there...
  16. 5 pm AST update (continues slow strengthening and and is moving to the NE) -
  17. 11 am AST update (Pablo has strengthened a bit and has sped up - but expected to be post-tropical by Monday) -
  18. This was Levi's tweet yesterday about what is now Pablo - Of course it looks to be jamming up against a trough and will probably sheer away. I circled where I believe it is -
  19. But then if you look at the years that the climatology data covers (1981 - 2010), it's literally missing the last almost 10 years, where some significant temperature extremes have occurred - notably warm temps even in the last 5 years. I blame you for this but I generated some temp anomaly maps for data from 2010 - 2018 (the latest they have so far) - (top is "annual" and bottom is "cold season Nov - Apr")
  20. As of 10 pm CDT last night, Olga went post-tropical -
