  1. I can't recall an event where I've seen it switch back and forth between rain and snow so frequently. It's mixing rain and big flakes right now. The ground is still beginning to coat interestingly enough
  2. Can't seem to commit to the flip here on the RI S coast. It's been flopping between rain and snow for the past hour. Currently all rain
  3. Still has not flipped to straight rain here in S RI. Hope that's a good sign for some of you further north
  4. My partner left for work about an 90 minutes ago. The spot under her car is covered with around a half inch of sleet
  5. Is the extreme S coast expected to see any of this? I'm not sure how quickly to expect a flip to rain
  6. Closing in on 5 inches. Super fluffy now compared to what fell earlier
  7. Pounding sleet at the moment. Looks like I might pick up an inch if it flips soon enough? Edit: That would make this my third? biggest event of the season? I am awful at keeping track. I only remember the big ones
  8. That eastern band has been ripping over my head for hours now. I wish I knew how to measure this stuff. I estimate around 14-18 inches? Waist high drifts all around and a 7 food drift right in my driveway Editing to include a pic of the towers
  9. Zero let up here. Caught this pic during a crazy gust
  10. Strongest winds yet at the moment. Hit a couple gusts over 70mph no doubt
  11. Lol after rereading your comment I look like a doofus and your joke is pretty obvious. I imagine you had some interesting experiences there
  12. Narragansett. Vis dropping below 100ft during gusts
  13. Visibility is less than 300ft right now. Absolutely mad
  14. It makes for a hell of a ride regardless of the outcome. I took a brief step outside and actually had snow blow up my shirt lol
  15. Lol that's the way it always goes. Although I'm not sure it's been as bad as it looks on radar. Then again it's really hard to tell how much snow is falling vs how much is blowing off the ground with these 50+ mph gusts. It's gone to whiteout in the past couple of minutes and winds are increasing
  16. Crushing here as we start to get hit from that band. I personally prefer heavy drifting because it makes it nearly impossible to tell how much snow has fallen and a lot easier to appreciate what is there. Lots of knee deep drifts to enjoy!
