  1. Check out the HRDPS. Lovely front end.
  2. New RGEM and CMC is cold to start even for the coast
  3. GFS has an inch for the city with a lot more to the west because of the banding.
  4. The ull is in a much more favorable spot on this run. The bands would have to swing around. GFS temps are a joke. Rgem has frozen to start tomorrow even for the city.
  5. The big amounts came slightly further south. By all means this isn't the end solution.
  6. GFS just double down for west and north of the city. There are mutiple areas of banding on the GFS. We really have to watch that to see where it sets up.
  7. RGEM has snow to start for NYC and rain up to Boston. That has to be wrong lol
  8. RGEM starts the NYC area as snow and sleet tomorrow.
  9. We just have to wish for the best tomorrow. We still have all day and overnight tonight to look at the models. I have been on a few hours of sleep every night looking at the models.
  10. Coating? It shows around 1-2 inches. I would take that in a heartbeat.
  11. Biggest wildcard. Models tend to struggle in these situations.
  12. I agree. We rarely get an early snowfall like this.
  13. Did the Nam push this storm back even further?
  14. 1-3 is a good call for NYC unless the storm drifts further south which is possible in a blocking pattern.
  15. Gefs seems warm for the coastal areas.
  16. Yes but it's time for the mesoscale models now
  17. The city will see more frozen precip if the precip comes in faster for the onset. Then a break and then round 2 starts and that is the biggest wildcard.
