I'm 5mi. due south from KPVD (TF Green) in EG, RI and so I basically am just pegging my total to theirs. It's wild. I feel very lucky that I tracked with you all here (I don't know anything, so thanks!) and got gas, oil, and primed the snowblower up for the first time in 3 years. Usually I feel pretty good w/ a shovel + snow thrower combo, but this had seemed like it would be something else. And it is! Snowblower was getting caked and shorting out/blowing a fuse (or, whatever the 2 stage engine equivalent is to electrical), so I am just going to give up until she passes. Would love to get close to blacktop though by end of the day/early tomorrow as it looks like some sun could help out w/ melting on surfaces. Congrats to RI / SE MA!

Does a 6:45AM flight out of Logan Monday AM have a chance to get out? I wonder about all of the different dynamics. Doesn't seem to be blizzardish, and I've taken off on trips where the snow was definitely heavy. That said, it didn't come after a foot of snow previously needed to clear from the runway, but alas.

In certain realms, I think he probably should...

Solar has a 30% Federal Income Tax Credit that is useable/can be rolled over through 2035 I believe (and then would get extended along with the program itself assuming it gets another life in some capacity). Additionally, states (in my case RI) offered rebates up to $5k off the top. Overall, about a 7 year ROI if you get a good market rate on the project - and that's just the breakeven on the electricity. The panels themselves have lifespans well beyond that, so it can certainly raise the home value in and of itself (nice to sell a several thousand dollar benefit to a prospective buyer).

5.25" in EG, RI right on the bay.

2.5" down, huge flakes in EG, RI about a mile from the bay. Hardest it has come down since 5AM - not sure how it compares to some of overnight. Changeover could be soon, but at the current clip I expect to see 3" when done accum.

5.25" in Roseland, NJ (W Essex Co). Flakes still large, though falling a bit more gently that it has otherwise been this AM.
