  1. I'm not jumping, but I do want to call out, looking historically to 2021 when we actually got snow, the Euro nailed pretty much every storm that year with totals whereas the others were busts. EDIT: Still happy with anything that covers the grass for this one. It has been way too long since.... anything and at this point, I'll appreciate anything.
  2. I’d take anything that covers the grass at this point.
  3. Didn't see this depressing stat posted here: I get that the negativity can be... over the top here sometimes. But when it's been a year+ and the 2nd worst year in weather history for the area..... MAYBE it's sometimes warranted.
  4. I’m pleasantly incorrect in my earlier comments. It’s snowing buckets in Monroeville/Murrysville now.
  5. Weather underground which has gone from 2.5” to 0.3” in Murrysville. NWS updated totals as well about an hour ago and shows no accumulation pockets all over Allegheny and westmoreland.
  6. Sure as heck would be preferable to last winter when we didn’t even crack 20” if I remember right.
  7. It was nice to get a little blast on winter, but nothing good on the next few days :(
  8. That’s what it has been showing for a week and only two of the last week have been rainy, which has been nice. Overall, great start to summer with being extremely comfortable outside. Pools probably hurting a bit for attendance though.
  9. I see high 70’s next weekend on a few forecasts. Quite a way to start April.
  10. This was the worst winter in memory for weather imo. At least we’ve had a nice stretch of spring weather and looks to continue through next week.
  11. Weird precipitation block even for today's system that was supposed to drop about an inch of rain between today and tonight. So far, tallied a whole .01" here.
  12. Still only a difference of 2.5% of the overall average. Would drop a 40” average to 38.4”.
  13. A whole difference of one third of one percent! The statistical horror! (10% difference of largest year divided by 30 year window).
  14. Fairly certain a Spring thread posted in JANUARY should automatically be filtered into the complaints thread. Yes, it's been a tough winter for snow fans, but we're literally one month into astronomical winter.
  15. WUnderground went from predicted 3.2" to 0" this morning at the last moment. Guess that's this winter.
  16. NWS updated to 1-2" up front, 1-2" for the back, with most of the regional NWS at 4-6" through Friday.
  17. TWC doesn’t like anything for Pittsburgh for sun/Monday. I seem to remember 2020 being the year of the Euro model reigning supreme even though everyone thought most of their projections were out in left field…. Might be misremembering.
  18. Down to below 10 (9F) here in Ross now. Was 31 when I woke up at 6:40am.
  19. If this is all the snow we get, it's definitely not a grey Christmas in my book. I'm happy. The wind has been brutal all morning. Definitely the highest wind I can remember in my time here (~10 years).
  20. TWC and NWS have us down to <1" now - I said I'd be happy with 1-2" on the ground when the cold came way back on page 9.... that looks like a fool's hope now.
  21. I'll go back to my original comment. White Christmas with an inch or two on the ground, anything after that is gravy.
